The Front Porch Swing

@Alice28. Feel better soon. It's hard to concentrate on kiddos when you hurt that bad. I get tension headaches that if left untreated turn bad fast. And the "hangover" sucks too. I hope the chicken soup helps. Might need to sneak a bowl of broth ASAP.

I've lost and been able to keep off most of 20 lbs this year. I tried the Plexus. Love it and it helps curb my appetite, but it's so expensive. I haven't used it in awhile and I've been able to more or less maintain what I've lost. Need to lose more though.

Blooie I'm very sorry to hear about your grand daughter. I hope she moves. I have a very violent family member that attacked me more then once. My parents never did anything to protect me. I moved to a different state. When this family member moved threatening to kill herself (again) my parents paid for her to live here, close to me and my child! When I begged my mom not to support putting me in danger, my moms response was "get a restraining order. She's attacked you enough times." I had to tell my mom that I didn't have parents who cared enough about me to have called the cops and protect me. I wish I would have called the cops even if only a few of the times. I really wish I had called the cops when my parents would leave me to take the abuse and calm the crazy person down. Pressing charges and documentation is the only way to help protect yourself. I now have panic attacks taking my son places and we are going to try and move in the next few years. It's a sad state. I'm glad your granddaughter has you. I wish my parents had felt the love for me that you feel for her. I begged them to let me live with my grandma.

Dpenning great job! Keep up the good work!

I'm going to have some broth as soon as the chicken is cooked down enough. Putting in lots of garlic too. I'm glad this is one if the days my son gets to go to preschool. He has kids all his age there to play with. We will just play outside a lot today so the daycare kids can run around and it's easier on me. Already did are art project this morning

With me its loose 10 gain 20 loose 20 gain 40.... my biggest mistake was believing the hype about being thin. I was 22 and 135 and thought I was fat... started dieting.... I went to high school when Twiggy was the hype.

Boy do I remember Twiggy. We didn't stand a chance. I weighed 121 when I got married and my in-laws told my hubby " Kinda chunky isn't she?" I kid you not. The girlfriend he had before was 105. sigh

@perchie.girl

You are a horse person. This guy showed up in our yard this morning. He's so gentle. We've been unable to locate it's owners so far. The sheriff's department is looking as well. What do I need to do if he's with us a few days? I don't really "know" horses.
Oh the little girl on me is going, "can we keep him?" And the adult in me is going, "
Are you insane?"

I'm right there with you, I would be "Can I keep him?" - insanity seems to rule sometimes. He's not a stallion, is he?
Very pretty Leopard App ...

No, he's gelded. Super gentle. My boys sat on him and we walked them around.

So is he an Appaloosa?

He's very pretty! I would imagine someone will be by for him in not to long. I'd just let him graze in the pasture (or the lawn.... Wherever he can't get out). In sure if you walk him down the road with a lead rope someone will recognize him. My grandma had hers in the pasture, then fed them alfalfa and oats at night, but someone will miss him soon I'm sure, so I'd just let him be your little lawn mower for the day! Lol.... Big lawn mower
