I have cabin fever. Bad.
I bought 2 packets of tomato seeds, gotta get something started so I will start some cherry tomatoes. I have heard that they grow OK in pots.
We have 3 inches of snow forecast for tomorrow night. Great time to start seeds, hey?
On another note, I have a job interview on Thursday. Man, I hate looking for a job.

Oh I hear ya. I ran to Michael's today to buy jewelry findings so i didn't do something crazy. LOL As I was coming home the sun finally peeked out and gave me the most gorgeous sunset I've seen in a while. It looked like a triangular flame shooting straight up into a purple sky. It made my day.

I'm doing sprouts for the girls to pass time.

The way things are going down here, we might not have a single sled or snowman-worthy snowfall this year! We had 71* on Sunday!

I have cabin fever too!!!! Minus the horses, it looks about the same weather wise here & I'm in MI!!!!! More snow - about 6" I guess forecast for sometime between now & Sat. I need it to warm up, snow go away so I can plant my garden I'm so tired of ice and snow.

Got a new rooster Sun. to replace the one I had that died -- still wish I knew from what. This one is about the same age as my hens (9 mo) and seems to be fitting right in and takes good care of the girls. Had an issue the first hour I was home but he let my 'head' chicken (or so she thought) who was boss!!! Now all is good in the hen house again. He is a Rhode Island Red and very pretty boy for sure. They had named him Bunny - for some unknown reason - but I just can't call a rooster Bunny so changed that to Buddy. Close anyway!!!

I need to check for eggs so best get out there. Enjoy any sunshine you get & pray for warm weather & NO snow!!!!!

Where are you at in MI? I'm in Lower Michigan - west side of the State near Lake MI and we have lots of snow for sure!!!

Question about de-worming chickens. After my rooster died, I de-wormed all my hens (they are 9 mo old). Now I have a new rooster who hasn't been de-wormed. How often do I need to de-worm them & can I de-worm the hens again so the new rooster gets de-wormed too?
