The Front Porch Swing

So, funny story today, going to the Dr tomorrow for the first appt toward the knee surgery. Uh huh, tues appt on the 16th. Then I realized today is the 16th. Called and rushed around like crazy and was an hour late but okay. Scheduled on March 10. Time to get everything up and set up for SIL to watch my birds while I'm out. Two or so weeks at a rehab. I'm very healthy except for the knee so when I get better watch my dust!!!!! ha

Linda, You'll be like the Road Runner!

Blooie, your bestest grammer reminds me of my son when he was a youngster. That boy was something else. He'd say, "I'm a good boy today, amn't I." All of the stuff he could find to get into, I'm surprised that he ever grew up without any major injuries!

Oh, that's so cute! Reminds me of when my three were little. I'd remind them to "behave" before we went into whatever store we were visiting. I bent down to give 3 year old Kenny a warning as he was getting just a little too loud. "But Ma" he protested. "I AM being have." Gotta love those kids! That expression is still used in our home, and our grandkids say it now!

Linda, despite the harried beginning to your great knee adventure I'm glad that everything went well. And you sound a little more willing to get done what has to be done and get on with it! Good for you!
