The Front Porch Swing

Asking continued prayers for Lindsay. She's been sick since mid last week. Fever, wheezy and productive cough, been on Abx and nebulizer both albuterol and steroid. Not getting better. They won't step her up on abx, b/c she's allergic to the next med up the chain. Back ground issue of heart condition which makes an infection just a bit more scary. I'm not getting much sleep here, but she'll be going home tonight... so I'll get a one night reprieve before she's back here again for Fri and Sat.

Bruce, you are totally relentless. And I bet you bear no shame in it either! I can just hear you chuckling! Now wouldn't you just be surprised if I took you up on it???

Nope, no shame at all! But since you had to add postage to the envelope for the seeds this past spring, I owe you so that would be one way to pay it back

But we both know I'm just teasing you about the Humane Society.

Time to bust out the hot chocolate, pull out the mittens and enjoy the winter view from the porch.

I hope everyone is enjoying the winter season so far, the porch has been quiet, so I'm guessing everyone is enjoying the outdoors. I hope someone can find the poor turtle and set him inside by the fire (not too close).

We went up to the snow and did some sledding yesterday, today while my husband worked I took our son to see Star Wars. We have made cookies, baked bread, decorated a gingerbread house and tomorrow we are leaving town for Christmas week. I wish you all a very happy holiday season and hope to hear from you soon.
