Bruce I am sorry you are having this experience. A BIG congrats on overcoming your addiction!!! I know it is never truly gone and that is why you don't need these guys to send you back. You need to give them the boot. If you feel the need again to help someone out I can recommend giving a homeless animal a home. They truly know how to appreciate what they are given. Plus you can teach them something and they don't resent it! LOLI'm not their care taker. i never mind helping a soul in hard times. most of these men came out of 1/2 way and 3/4 way addiction housing the next step is independent living. my goodness really. there comes a time when personal responsibility becomes a major factor in ones life.
in my life i was also a homeless addicted drug addict . i always took care of my place to sleep because i knew that was the only one i had.. soon they will find that out also. the hard way. sad just sad..
I was married to a guy once that was much like the ones you described. I hope you noticed the past tense! LOL I just plain got tired of picking up, cleaning up, and doing all the work inside and outside the home. It just wears one out to where you don't care and you don't need that. Give yourself some credit for being a great guy and take back your life!
