Good morning, Bruce!

Bee checkin' in this morning. Getting ready to roll into town even though it's pouring snow(that's why we have a 4x4) to do a mission of mercy and pick up something I need for my incubation project. Going to go to our fave place to eat and just enjoy God's day.

I hope everyone stays warm and safe out there. Egg count is picking up as hormones get into full swing...I'm getting some lovely eggs from my pullets as their system grows into big girl status and will be setting these eggs if I can stabilize temps in my incubator project.

Even the old gals are starting to get their lay on...six and seven years old and still getting that spring flush of hormones. I love these old gals and will be watching them closely for any laying issues due to old age and will be ready to give mercy if it occurs.

See youins' later and can't wait to hear about what everyone is doing in their part of the world.

Good morning all. I guess those hormones are rockin' here too. I opened the back door and it sounded like several egg songs going off. Either that or there's some kind of big monster in the henhouse. I bet they killed it if there was! lol Some of those ladies just COULD NOT live in the city with those loud mouths!!! hahaha

man, all your guys chickens are kicking in. yeah. my chickens . not happening here. i have not seen an egg in 3 months.

on the home front ugg. i rent my rooms to tenants. omg i have never in my life seen such a bunch of non caring lazy grown men. i clean everyday . just to keep up so it does not build up. i do it this way so it does not take hours to do.i just walk by around the house. see something and wipe it down. easy that way. well yesterday. i did a major bathroom clean. it needed to be done. i get up this morning to pee. omg water everywhere, the shower rugs kicked in a bunch, tooth paste in the sink water on the counter and mirror.. so the warning went out either clean behind yourself or a key lock goes on the door. so i got that ain't right argument. i said in return if you can't take of something you loose it. simple fix go pee and poo outside . grab a bucket to wash up. cause your rent does not include 24 hr maid service.
now if that was not bad enough. the idiot up stairs. left the gate open again for the 4Th time after telling him. after. 45 min of getting my dog back in. i was beyond upset. so the pad lock went on his private entrance . he goes i pay for that entrance. i said yes you do. however along with using that entrance came the responsibility of closing the gate. you were warned to do so several times. you refuse to do it therefor you loose it.
then to top it all off. the kitchen area. dishes all over the counters not even in the sink. which by the way the sink sets next to a dish washer.
i guess they will loose kitchen privileges next.. I'm done. all these men range from 64 to 41. most all of them are behind in rent. it took them a couple weeks to find work.
so as far as I'm concerned . they can get the heck out. I'm not their care taker. i never mind helping a soul in hard times. most of these men came out of 1/2 way and 3/4 way addiction housing the next step is independent living. my goodness really. there comes a time when personal responsibility becomes a major factor in ones life.
in my life i was also a homeless addicted drug addict . i always took care of my place to sleep because i knew that was the only one i had.. soon they will find that out also. the hard way. sad just sad..
now to top this bull off. i called about my truck repair. this fella has had my truck 4 months. it needs a windshield and some other things. i gave hm the truck with 47, 500 miles on the odometer. so now it has 52,000 miles on it. i told him i need the truck on this day. get it done by then. i called today. i need my wheels for a court date on the 12Th. still not done. i gave him the option either return my truck tomorrow fixed, or bring it back with the funds i paid.and .20 cents a mile he put on. of course he gets angry.it is my fault. so i put it in these terms.do one of these 2 things or Monday you will be arrested on theft after trust on the car, ailment, theft on the money stolen, and conversion of of someones Else's property to personal use.. 5 charges 2 are a felony. just because they would not do what they were hired to do. so i got threaten with body harm. so as i sit hear clean my shot gun for no other reason. then no one can be trusted. i just do not get it.

i just do not get it.

I also value my word and I value the truth and as much as I'm capable I believe in taking care of myself and cooperating with the people in my "community."

I've also had recent experience with having a lodger ... and it was very similar to what you describe. At first. Then it got worse. Then it got even worse. The more we tried to discuss household standards with this person, the more their behavior deteriorated until no amount of vigilance could protect the property or the other humans and animals living on it. It wasn't safe and it wasn't healthy and I was no match physically. I get creeped out thinking about it.
