When I was first getting into chickens and had the idea to convert one of the abandoned greenhouse frames to a chicken coop, I looked around on the internet for signs of other people making chicken houses out of "found" stuff. I came across Robert Plamondon ... he is from Oregon, and he does a lot of
over people spending a lot of $$$ on chickens.
In some ways he reminds me of someone here (
), but I'm not sure he has quite as many years of experience with chickens or with getting the most out of the least ... His wife Karen "designed" (through much amusing trial and error, though now I can't find those posts) a Hoop Coop like some of us in this thread are using.
