@Leslie... how do you wash your eggs. Do you use any soap or just water?

I use those cute egg baskets (plastic coated wire), and I rise them with hot water. Then I transfer each egg to the other side of the sink, and if it needs it I rub it under running hot water until it looks clean. A few eggs need spot scrubbing with a nylon scrubby. When all the eggs are "washed", I pour a very dilute solution of bleach water over them. Then they get a final rinse. then they are set on towels to dry ... then into the cartons & refrigerator they go.

By the way, my daughter has ducks. She has Black East Indies - lots of them, living inside her house. Yep, in her house. I posted some pictures of them on another thread here - if I knew how to link them I'd do that here so you can see what I'm talking about.

Hi! Well yes they are muddy and messy Well I have one Pekin and a Mallard. They had duckies 9 hatched but 4 got eaten. So I ended up with 5. I now have 7 ducks. I am trying to get rid of 3 of them though.
