Probably not..it's sort of natural for them to pick up feathers and eat them now and again. You could give them a bird seed suet cake and see if that will fill an urge.
I gave them two suet cakes the other day and they cleaned them right up with their ff...slurp! That was a dollar something or another apiece! LOL I believe I am going to try top dressing their ff with a little codliver oil for a few days.
