We are about 4 miles from "CHICKEN SHACK RD", in Oconto County.

Love the story about the Phantom chickens crossing the road. Maybe call your coop "The Other Side". As in, why did the Phantom chicken cross the road, to get to THE OTHER SIDE.
OK, maybe a little too obscure...

"The Other Side" Awesome..... idea. you could do chicken foot prints all over the place with rubber stamps.

Agreed, subject change! Does anyone have yummy campfire recipies? We're going camping for five days! Me, my son, his cousin and aunt and uncle. My husband can't make it ;(

I make steak shish kebabs and package them in the marinade in a big plastic Baggie then freeze it. The flat frozen package sits at the bottom of the cooler in place of a bag of ice. Thaw when ready to cook delicious kebabs over the campfire!

Really craving some MEAT right now.........must go find some meat.

I have a courtyard This is the entry gate from the outside This is the entry gate from the inside The steps to the house form a porch. This is the patio I stood on to take the picture of the entry gate from the insde This is the patio showing the big rock taken while I was standing on my front porch This shows one of MANY inlaid Tile pictures in the wall and around the house The courtyard is about 100 x 60 This pix is from the front porch steps. One of the mosaics.... I need to figure out how to rotate pix or reload it. All these pictures are eleven years old. Taken in the winter of 2003 deb
I love this courtyard. It looks so peaceful.

Thanks I fell in love with the land wayyy before I saw the house.  I have eighteen acres and this little house is a one be one bath.  tucked in a corner of it way away from the road/easement.

Sadly its not so neat and clean now.... LOL.

deb

I can see why you fell in love with it- beautiful house and land! Sounds like the ideal place. All you need is water, huh? I would have to put in an outdoor shower. You could have it run off in a flowerbed or small garden. Solar panels, solar hot water, windmill, ohhh yeah!

Wow what a great and simple idea!

Seems i'm late on a lot of topics discussed here, but since I have now finished reading all the posts, please allow me to put in my 2 cents, I do bring iced tea made with ginger and lemons and honey is an option for the people who like it sweet.

Heartsizedfarm:- beautiful pictures

Topic has been changed but I would not feel ok not mentioning this.
Alice28 allow me to mention that there are some bible verses that forbid gay Lev 18 and 20, its not something the church came up with and I know churches have come up with a lot of stuff to suit themselves.
To me everyone has a right to make their choice that is why God gave us a sound mind.

Deb, that is an awesome porch. Looks like a mansion,

The pics of the mutts how old are they now? they have grown so quick.

All the food talk has made me hungry now. Will be back.

Love you all and don't kick me off the porch
