The Front Porch Swing

Anything can be eaten if cooked right.

It took Thomas a YEAR to finally catch on to using "more please". He knew "more", and would use it if coerced, forced, bribed etc. and usually only with the therapist.

Now he's doing it all day.. answering all questions with "more please".

"Milk?" more please! (even though he hasnt had any yet)

"Movie?" more please!

"Want a piece of chocolate?" peas mor!

Boy cracks me up..

I played with some of his toys we used for therapy and for once I was actually getting similar results as the therapist. Wonderful.

Oh this goober about chewed his new hearing aid piece in half.... he's had it a whole two weeks

Hubby says it's still ok, but I can clearly see the crack all the way around. He has learned "mor peas" without hearing aids, proving he's not THAT deaf.... I really need him to wear the aids though but AAAARGH, It's like trying to put a sweater on a cat.

Do like they do with glasses and put something around his ear or head (velcro?

) that will make it impossible to remove. Is there such a thing? Well think about the velcro. or a helmet?

OMYGOSH! Will I ever learn NOT to wear red in the coop? I know better. Went to grab a new egg I spotted in the run this morning (speckled, no idea whose)and dang rooster freaks out. Luckily holding my boot up spooks him enough to get out. Time to get rid of all my red t-shirts.

Yikes. Anyhow, I might have 3 laying now.

I wear red shoes in the coop. No trouble from my birds... but mine grow up seeing them every day I guess.

Me? Not so much. I don't dare wear my red flip flops anymore even outside the run, he hates them. He charges and flaps at the fence. LOL Good thing red is not my color.

@Blooie I was trying to remember your baked (boiled) eggs.  In a glass dish?  Does it matter?  350 for 20 or so?  :pop

In a muffin tin, Linda - 325 for 25 minutes. I should warn you , though, that it didn't seem to make the really fresh eggs peel any better, like I hoped it would. Works like a dream on store bought eggs, which were the only kind i'd ever baked in the past.

I did these with my last batch of freshly store bought eggs. They were perfect. I can't wait to try it out with these.
