The Front Porch Swing

Beautiful gals. Good thing you're several states over.. My boys would love to hang out with those gals

No particular reason for this post - just a couple of recent pictures of the girls that I thought I'd share here as well as on another site. Tonight was Katie's dress rehearsal for her dance recital, and Mom sent her over for Gramma to do her hair. We had great fun playing beauty shop! Easy with her - she's a natural beauty to start with, even if I do say so myself!

And speaking of hair - how many 3 year olds have hair like this? I did Kendra's hair for "school" yesterday. It's as thick as it looks! She's so doggone cute I just had to brag.

There, do you see it? The very first adult pose by Katie. Stunning.

I do now that you've pointed it out! Wow, my baby girl is growing up!
Raise a bunch of chicken lovin' kids together, huh?

I think it would be a toss-up when it comes to our kids spending time with the chickens! Katie is so eager for Ken and I to leave town Monday...she gets to take care of Scout all by herself! She's learned what to put on his feet and when, she knows how to feed his FF vs his dry food...she's got it wired!

Blooie, those kids are so cute! growing up so fast. And another on the way! Congrats!

Here is something I have never seen before I moved into this house. It is a cast iron toilet paper holder with a wooden spool.

Thanks, Wyo. They are a couple of little beauties....and they're beautiful from the inside out.

I've never seen a cast iron and wooden toilet paper holder either. But then, in this tiny trailer I have no room in the bathroom for a toilet paper holder anyway, and that's not an exaggeration! The roll just sits on the dryer, which is 2 inches from the side of the toilet. Oh, and the toilet is 2 inches from the side of the bathtub on the other side. <sigh> Someday, a house.....
