Thank you! Hubby and I picked 10 pounds of blueberries in an hour. Today is the first day in a week it hasnt rained, so its outside chore day :). Came home and picked a 3 gallon bucket full of green beans out of the garden and got the middle chicks settled in their new grow pen. Youngest DD took the baby chicks out for a little dirt time even. Tomorrow is going to be a canning day.

Seems quiet here today, I hope you all are having great weather and are out enjoying it!

DH and I took the boat out on the bay today. Nice day to be on the water, just enough winds to make just enough low waves to make the boat skip through the water and spray us!

I need to get outside now and weed the garden. We are working on the new coop area so I can get the chicks out of their temp coop. They have outgrown it so fast. At 4 weeks old, they are almost fully feathered ... They have been off heat for a week. Thank you Momma Heating pad!

@Blooie Enjoy your cruise! Don't forget to tell us all about it when you get back. Maybe I will have some chick pictures up by then...

My new job (morning stock person) gets me up at 3:45 to be to work at 5 am. Early mornings are tough!

DH has got the chicks trained to sit on his hands and some hop up on his arms. I told him to keep them off his shoulders because eyes look like juicy bugs!

Must be WAY farther into the growing season where you live (you can put it in your profile) than it is here. JUST started to get some blueberries and raspberries. The beans aren't even close though they did get planted really late. The only thing I put in "on time" was a single tomato plant about Memorial Day. There are some green fruits but there will be nothing to pick for a couple of weeks at least.

Im in Southern Indiana...about midway between Indianapolis and Louisville. There's a great u-pick place near us that has acres and acres of Blueberry and Blackberry bushes. In my garden, Ive got 10 tomato plants that Im getting a few ripe ones a day from, and my bush beans are all ripe. I plantedeverything May 1st, then had to replant a week laterwhen a frost came through haha. I was too impatient to see something grow.

A cruise...Im jealous! Have a great time and take lots of pictures! Heck, Im even jealous of being able to go out on a boat lol. Hubby doesnt get even a day off from work and with all the kids and animals...we dont do much.
