The Full Litter

I love her to BITS, and she is used to living in a certain way, so I would be most careful were I to place her. I don't have kennels. My dogs are all house dogs. Yes, they rotate some between being crated, but they all get their hours of exercise time with a play buddy in the yard, one on one with me each day, and they all have their cushy spots for sleeping and napping.

It is NOT easy to place dogs once they have been here for a while. Although I made a strong effort not to get too attached to Cindy, for example, I miss her SO much, and I get teary eyed thinking of her, looking at her pictures, or when I am putting out one less food bowls. With Grace it is even moreso, since we have spent so much more time together. Those of you who do also understand the bond you build with a dog when you are working it in obedience and other forms of training.

It would have to be a very special place for me to ever let my Gracie-Goo go. <3

I like the male, but the female seems lacking in the topline. I like Katie MUCH better!

She is soft! A couch potato.

However, her topline is correct. In my opinion, she is better than her mother, and she is the only breedable female from Milton's litter. I really feel that she will mix in an outstanding way with Vinnie. I expect puppies similar to Katie's litter, and sure hope I get some boys this time around!

This will be my first chance to use a grump with my Redyre prefix on her, so I am very excited about it.

We have several reservations already.

Do you get to keep a puppy from the breeding?

Could it just be an odd angle on the camera that I'm seeing? Or is it the "softness" because your dogs look like mongo-wrestlers? (

No, not planning for the baybay QUITE yet, but there is just no comparison between her and Gracie.

This will be my litter. I will most likely be leasing Iffie for the breeding so that I can be the sole breeder of record. I plan to split any overages with her owner after we cover all expenses. She will be coming here to whelp the litter sometime in Sept.

It could be the angle, and there is also a giant difference between my dogs, who are in hard tight condition, and this gal who is not. I really liked her when they were up here with her this past Nov. Penny's breeder, and Vinnie's owner also both got a chance to see her and all agreed that it would be a good combination.

Now here's to hoping I get a large litter and a natural whelping this time and you all get to watch it on the web cam.

Oh I'm sorry...I tend to think of Katie's Litter as The Brady Bunch. Sorry for the confusion!
