good luck. I hope she is OK
thank you, I just did some research on the lifespan of outdoor cats, and it is around seven to eight years - we got her when she was five and she has always been an outdoor cat, so I'm considering it might actually be old age 😔
My parents are at the vet with her now and hopefully, they can tell us what is going on. ❤️

I doubt it. I see no reason as to why a outdoor cat would live a shorter life. I had an outdoor cat when I was younger and it was 17 when It died

Then it must be something else. Plus, I doubted that my cat would have bloody barf just from old age 🤨.
I'm hoping they will send her home with some antibiotics or something to help her out. Or at least a diagnosis.

The whole outdoor cats having a shorter life thing is because indoor cats aren't exposed to a lot of the dangers outdoor cats are. Most probably don't die of old age.

I hope she's okay. She's really pretty.

The parents just got back, and there's good-ish news.
Apparently, the vet said Koa was dehydrated, and that's why she wasn't eating.
( I find it odd that it's dehydration - because her water bowl is full in the yard, and it has been raining a ton here so there are freshwater puddles everywhere, but I'm happy that she is going to be alright nonetheless.)
:fl
She is staying at the vet till this afternoon, getting IV fluids to rehydrate her. The vet cleaned her ears, checked for internal problems, and said nothing seemed wrong, so that makes me feel a bit better as well.
:oops::hugs
