love is love
The parents just got back, and there's good-ish news.
Apparently, the vet said Koa was dehydrated, and that's why she wasn't eating.
( I find it odd that it's dehydration - because her water bowl is full in the yard, and it has been raining a ton here so there are freshwater puddles everywhere, but I'm happy that she is going to be alright nonetheless.)
She is staying at the vet till this afternoon, getting IV fluids to rehydrate her. The vet cleaned her ears, checked for internal problems, and said nothing seemed wrong, so that makes me feel a bit better as well.

Cats like running water. They are usually reluctant to drink from still water dishes. Mine refuse to drink out of their bowls ,and instead run at the sound of the water running from the sink. I run the sink water for them several times a day now, to make sure they get their water.
Try suggesting one of these https://www.amazon.com/NPET-Fountai...ords=cat+water+fountain&qid=1617405652&sr=8-6
they are the best for cats..
