Thanks for sharing all the details. I'm surprised to see that there have been fewer losses with the Ross. Do you know the cause of death for the Cobbs?

All I can attribute it to is the massive swings in temps. The Ross are drinking significantly more water then the cobbs.

yes. 4-5 birds will attack one nipple, make a puddle then drink from the puddle.

Well, Once it warms up today, the birds go onto grass. Two full weeks late, but they are a LOT better feathered now. I may let them go to 9 or 10 weeks to see how they fill out. This weather has really thrown me a curve ball.

Well, they're in their new homes, pics to follow. I'll go back in a half hour to get a baseline on feed for the week. We have 31 Ross, lost 8 counting the DOA and 35 Cobb lost 7, so they must have given me extra Cobb or gotten some Ross in the Cobb side? I'll never know.
