The great duckling watch.

Anyone know anything about water coming out of the holes on beak? Seems like there are little water droplets near those holes. They are acting fine and the sweetest little things.

If they have been sticking their lil heads in the water it's just what is left in the nares.

Miss Lydia .. Resident duck eggspert.
Our broody hen was sitting on some eggs and two of them were ducks. One hatched overnight but she kicked him out of box . Kids found him this morning and put him in the incubator. He's doing great and all fluffed up . Egg 2 is not doing so great . She had bumped this egg behind her and not under her for the hatch so we went ahead and brought it inside to bator. I can see he is shrink wrapped but there are still blood vessels so we are trying to get humidity up in bator as we speak and I'm keeping it moist with paper towels. Would you just keep moist and leave him be? His beak is out and he is breathing shallow but with the blood vessels I do not want to intervene too much. Sigh.
So much for broody hen taking care of this ;(

I will ask someone more experienced with hatching in bators to come with advise, but getting the humidity up will help hopefully. if he has his bill through then at least he is getting oxygen. Hold on and hopefully someone will be here. Congrats on the first one and so thankful the kids found this lil one. Once this one is fluffed up completely and dried you may want to put in a nice warm brooder not sure if high humidity is good for them, but we'll see what a hatching expert says. My experience with hatching is mainly with the mama duck doing the hatching.I've only assisted 1X in hatching and don't feel i can give good advise since it sounds like this lil one is going to need some help soon.

Thanks!
Yeah I've assisted with chicks before but not ducks and I have no idea how long she had this egg pushed out behind her.
I did help shell some and membrane until I saw vessels then stopped.
Here is a current pic of our situation
