WOW!!!!!
It is day 22! 2 more have pipped thu I moistened the shell and the membrane looks good. The humidity is 78. I had 10 eggs for this hatch and 4 of those were from my pullets and those are the ones hatching. So the others quit? 3 were clear. The others I am not sure of but they are still in the bator!![]()
Ok. Thanks Ron!Different breeds hatch at different rates. Give the others another day at least. If you do not see pips tomorrow in them, candle to see if they are still alive.

I wish I had known a little sooner you were headed over there. When is your next trip? If you would like to try some Swedish Flower Hen (or whatever else I have laying at the time) out in the Philippines, I would love to donate some to your cause and see how my packaging would hold up to such a trip.Air cells and airplanes dont mix. On wednesday I will be puttling a few hundred eggs on a plane for 14 hours. I will be happy if 25% hatch

Congrats on the babies!
Thanks KYTinpusher!Congrats on the babies! You can just leave it. It will dry up and fall off in due time. Once it is all dried, you can break it off a little away from its body if it doesn't fall off by itself, but no need to open the bator just to do that.![]()
