That is good!

Did you get pictures of the wrapping? It would be great to see.

Can you get the recipient to take pictures when they get there?

This is great! Thanks for posting.

inside the inner carton..everyone is individually wrapped...piece of bubble wrap across the top also..........we have a sheet of foam underneath pieces around and a sheet above....I was going to cut out holes and set the eggs in the foam like "egg shippers" but this foam is a little more dense...

First candling soon on UofA eggs?

We candled them,
one looks iffy, and one had a blood spot. I'll add pictures when I get time.

Has anyone ever shipped eggs in live bird boxes? Would that be misrepresentation? I am trying to send some expensive eggs to a friend and want to find the best way. I guess it is the skyline, by your records? Sorry, I've been reading the thread but it is very long. Thanks!

Bob Bosl was talking about that before He passed. I do not know if he ever did that?

I think he said someone he knew had tried it with good results, and he thought the box might receive better handling. He was wanting to try it himself, I just don't know whether he ever got to.

WOW,I finally got thru 166 pages of post.I have read every post on these thread. It took me a couple weeks. But I feel much wiser.I started reading to find out about shipped eggs. I had no ideal that shipping was so tremendous on the eggs. But had never put detailed thought in it. So now I know.So I hope to be able to try some in the near future. I have eggs in my LG in Lockdown now.Tomorrow is the day.But I am not sure about it.As I have not seen anything out of them since lockdown. I am pretty sure some are quitter's,But left because was not sure. And didn't want to kill them un-needed.
This is 1st time in 15 or more years.I use to be pretty good at hatching . But just not too sure I will even have 1 to hatch .
Sorry this is off topic and Rambling.

I just received guinea hatching eggs from Country Hatchery and they were packed in a live bird box. They were clearly marked as eggs. I don't have much luck determining detached air cells in guinea but to the best of my ability, it appears as if there is only one egg with a detached air cell. The eggs will go into the incubator later today as I just received them at 7 AM MDT this morning.
