Mine always start hatching in the middle of the night no matter what time I set them.

apparently I was off on my hatch day or something me and dh walked into bedroom and I heard chirping and thought that's weird the chicks in the brooder are usually quiet so I turned around to go check on them and noticed a chick in the incubator there is another one hatching and at least one more pip!

I received eggs from chicken fever the other day. My first in foam cut outs. I'm almost as eggcited about that as I amabout the LFmottled Cochin.

Wisher, I wish my turkeys were old enough to lay eggs. They are still in brooders.... lol I have one RP that is abt. 3 wks old and the others I just got last sat as one day old's lol.
And all my chicks are between a month and a week old. Or I would gladly send you some turkey eggs! I probably won't get any eggs from any of my birds till at least Aug. Or I would love to get in on the egg shipping!

Sweet can't wait to see how they fared. I got a black duck egg yesterday. Typical of the cayuga breed. It really surprised me.
