I may be getting some hatching eggs from Texas. If so I will share with you all how they do.

Texas humid or dry?

yep, I was just wondering...since I would guess that incubation rate from shipped eggs is determined not only by how they were handled while shipping, but if there is a drastic elevation change or change from a humid to dry or dry to humid climate.
Elevation change for sure causes problems. Going from a low elevation to a high elevation is bad(over 5000 feet or so). I have not heard about humidity differences from one place to another causing problems though. High humidity during hatching is a problem and often require the use of de humidifiers.yep, I was just wondering...since I would guess that incubation rate from shipped eggs is determined not only by how they were handled while shipping, but if there is a drastic elevation change or change from a humid to dry or dry to humid climate.
Oh, I forgot to add that going from high elevation to low elevation is not as much of a problem.
