I agree with patience and what I did was to have a light on in the coop before dusk. Mine all sounded like 2 year old kids not wanting to go to bed. I picked up everyone and put them in the coop every night. They got better every night and within 2 weeks they put themselves to bed. My little ones now only took 3 days to figure out to go in the coop. They will get it but good thing you have someone who can retrieve them for you.So, what does it take to get the chickens to coop up at night? Any tricks? I had to send my daughter on a belly crawl under the coop to fetch 6 of them tonight. They are almost 5 weeks right now.
