Had anyone had issues with raccoons my neighbors lost 100 chickens combine and were strictly free range we lock ours up at nite and have them in the run while we are at work the only time they are allowed to free range is when we get home from work so they get atleast 4-5 hours of free range a day I think that is pretty good not sure if it's the best but atleast they get some free range

I'm new to chickens and coop building, but you will need more than chicken wire to keep out predators. Chicken wire is good for keeping chickens in but raccoons and other predators can easily get through. You will need hard wire cloth for that. Coop looks great though!
