Sometimes when I walk everyone to the park, a few ducks are a little late understanding what is going on. So instead of going the same way they go every other time we go to the park, they try to go in a straight line from where they are to where we are... usually resulting in getting stuck behind a fence. They quack like something is eating them. ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS MOVE TWO FEET TO THE LEFT to get around the fence, but no, I have to walk back and show them how. /facepalm

In other words, ducks are lovable, goofy, poop machines. This thread hasn't changed my mind about getting ducks this spring. I MUST HAVE THEM!!

What about muscovies? I now have poo in places where poo doesn't belong, like on top of my car. Ms. Muscovy can make it up to our deck and likes to poo all over the railing. I can no longer keep the bin of duck food in the duck house because that's Mr. Muscovies favorite place to hang out and poo. Poo falling from the sky... I dunno about those muscovies.

something not poop related: Ducks forage whenever something catches their eye and do not understand the concept of personal space - a bad combination when they are on your lap and see your pants zipper... thank God they aren't chickens!
