The Hatch That BYC Built (aka Frieda vs. the Brinsea!) (Warning--pic heavy)

I am in Bandon (about 2 hours north of Crescent City). I have Halloween chicks if that's not to old for you. They are Orps and orp mixs. You can have as many as you want for free. They are nothing special but they are healthy. Let me know if I can help. Maybe I could even drive them half way?

That would be absolutely wonderful, thank you! Mine was hatched on November 9, so I don't think that's too big an age difference--I seem to remember reading somewhere that 2 weeks is iffy, but that's well within that... I'll have to talk with my husband, but we have all next week off from school, so we should be able to figure something out :thumbsup

:celebrate

Yay!!! 9 days isn't too big of a deal, especially as the older ones will be disoriented from moving... better to move the older ones into the establushed area of the younger... I've had lots of success integrating varied aged chicks... staggered hatches...

OK, let me know. The white ones are leghorn/orpington, the darker are BBS orpington (can't guarantee the moms aren't RIR or BA though.

Finally had a chance to talk with Mr. P (one problem with being married to someone in the ministry--phone calls!) and he's up for a trip to pick up chicks next week. I'll pm you to figure out when :thumbsup

First impulse is to say I'd like one of each color :gig
