Allen waited until Zero returned with the tennis ball, she didn't drop it. Her head low she wagged her tail back and forth slowly. Allen snapped his fingers and pointed to the girl (Jess.) Zero trotted over to her and dropped the tennis ball at her feet. Zero then sat down and began to sweep the pine needle strewn ground with her tail.

The dog surprised Jess, and she jumped. Radar fluttered in the air for a second, then landed on a low branch nearby. Jess looked at the dog for a moment, then stood and picked up the ball, and threw the ball for the dog.

Zero took off after the ball like a shadow. "Hello." Allen said quietly, turning around. He recognized her as Jess, the girl he bumped into earlier. "Sorry about earlier, i had to feed Zero." he said gesturing after his border Collie.

Jess walked over to where Allen was. "No, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going," Jess gave him a small smile. "I think it's time for a proper introduction, don't you?" She held out her hand for him to shake, "Hello. I'm Jessamine, more commonly known as Jess. ...Maybe not so commonly. I know barely anybody here."

"I'm Allen." He said bluntly; but he shook her hand with a slight smile. He wasn't one to drag out a conversation. Zero reappeared in the clearing and she dropped the ball this time at Allen's feet. He picked up the tennis ball and threw it hard into the tangle beyond the smaller clearing. He watched the arch as it hit the ground with a dull thud. He saw Zero streak after it like a ghost.

Jess's owl landed on her arm, I'm still here. "And this is, um, Radar," She smiled, "He can be a goofball sometimes." Radar looked at her. He made no noise, but his meaning was clear to Jess, but only because she had known him for so long. If owls could raise eyebrows(or even had eyebrows), this one would be doing exactly that.

He glanced at Radar. "Cool." Zero came back into the clearing but She didn't drop the ball at Allen's feet, instead, she curled up on the ground and chewed on it, content. He smiled at the sight of her. She made no noise but you could almost just imagine the noises a normal dog would make, If you knew her as well as Allen did, you'd try to come up with what she was thinking. I'll just leave the chatting to you people, i'll do my own thing over here.
