The Haven

Julie slipped out of her room, four daggers strapped to her belt and one dagger in each slick black knee high boots. (Nice boots! xD) her snake, Isis, was wrapped around her neck and shoulder as she walked down the hall, the heels of her boots making a faint click as she walked briskly to the training room. Her eyes wore an icy cold stare as she walked inside and found her own area to practice. She lifted Isis off her shoulder and set her on the bench. Isis curled into a spiraled ball. Her eyes hinted a bit of silver as she looked at her pet, but instantly vanished once she turned her attention towards the target, her eyes burning red like her hair, though slightly darker. With one quick motion, she had a dagger in her hand and it was spring across the room and hit the bulls eye of the wooden painted target. She did the same with two more daggers, then retrieved them from the targets.

Name:Jacob (Goes by Jake)
Age: 12 ((He was gonna be 15 but everybody else is 15, so I'm like, forget it, he's gonna be 12 xD))
Gender: Male
Personality: Unknowingly bold. Has a terrible habit of either not thinking before acting, or thinking too much and not acting. Pessimistic, always sees what could go wrong. Not trusting and flighty, but brave and loyal to those he ever does trust(which is basically nobody.)
Pet: Gecko

Weakness: Allergic to cat/dog fur. Too superstitious for his own good.
Weapon: Slingshot(I decided to go out of the ordinary), saxe knife—in case he gets caught in hand-to-hand combat
Bio: Has seen much death in his short life, and he doesn't mind it anymore. He just accepts it as something that happens to everybody. Experienced in not being seen, which partially comes from his small size(he's small for his age btw)
Pic/Description: That's what the morning's for. I'll do it then.

"I have a guess, I do read a bit y'know. It' isn't a waste of time as most people think. Synthetic.... Well It doesn't really feel all that artificial does it? I mean the outdoor simulation center. Sometimes i wonder if this is what it's really like outside." a small smile touched his lips as he saw Zero trying to get his attention by running in circles, seemingly chasing her tail.

(You can get outside if you take a mission in the office, but don't take them often, they are dangerous, even for Julie. [Yes that's right Karen] Don't be unrealistic. this is a war. A VERY dangerous war.)

"It might not be." Jess said. "I mean, with Them out there..." She trailed off, letting the silence flow in. Radar flew back into the cover of the trees, away from the noisy people, to continue hunting. "You know, If you wanted to... You could take a mission.. To see if it is like this. It's risky, but it's a risk we'll all have to take someday..." she said that somewhat awkwardly, and she sat down on the rock once again.

"I've thought about that." Allen admitted. He sat down on the ground not too far away and picked up a stick. Absent minded, he began to draw in the dirt with the stick. When he looked at his creation, he thought it could be Zero.... if you looked really hard and knew what to look for. He was by no means an expert at drawing. Zero trotted up to him soundlessly and licked his hand. She had a pleading look in her eye and she had dropped the tennis ball by Allen. He smiled and threw it off into the forest. "But i don't think i could leave Zero behind, or bring her." He said completely honestly, doodling with the stick again.

"Yeah. I understand what you mean. I've honestly considered going out there, but I couldn't, wouldn't, forgive myself if something happened to Radar, or if something happened to me and left him alone." Her voice was quiet, and she looked down, suddenly that blade of grass looked quite interesting. Her voice was barely audible when she spoke again. "Never mind, you wouldn't care..."
