I said it was a tax from the beginning - the only reason it is constitutional. So be it. I can't stand the Republicans anyway. They want to play party politics over principle.

The Supreme Court determined it is a tax even after Obama argued that it was not a tax.



Article 1 section 8 of the US Constitution gives Congress the power to raise money to support the federal government. Section 7 requires laws regarding revenue and expenditures to begin in the House of Representatives, so ALL tax bills MUST be introduced by a member of the House of Representatives.


Obamacare was NOT introduced by a member of the house.

This alone should be enough to get it repealed.

That is an interesting point...but it doesn't matter now. The Supreme Court has the final say.

Wrong. Aggressive foreign policy is harming us and the rest of the world. Our current foreign policy is making enemies. Do you think they hate us because we are "free" (we aren't free by the way) No, they hate us because we bomb them and occupy their land.

Ron Paul knows a strong defense is necessary, but we start wars and get into the business of every country, overthrowing governments, etc. and have been doing it for far too long. Now we borrow money to fight the wars. That is not defense.

By the way, people made similar comments about Barack Obama and foreign policy.

America cannot afford the aggressive industrial military complex, and its bad policy anyway.

At this point the US is bankrupt. We could not fight another war if we had to. In the next 10 years we will be lucky if we can keep from breaking apart like Russia did .
