If you don't care for Ron Paul you must hate the constitution

If you disagree with Obama you must be a racist

If you're a corporation you must be greedy and scum of the earth

If you're a bank you must be working for the Jews to enslave all others

If you're Arab you must be a terrorist

If you're brown you must be an illegal and here to steal my job

If you're black you must be trying to rob me

Well folks none of these are true

I was going to agree with you, until you wrote that last line.

The Bill that was passed was not introduced in the House.

http://chicksontheright.com/2012/06/29/hope-wishful-thinking/
  • Introduced in the House as the "Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009" (H.R. 3590) by Charles Rangel (DNY) on September 17, 2009
  • Committee consideration by: Ways and Means
  • Passed the House on October 8, 2009 (416–0)
  • Passed the Senate as the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" on December 24, 2009 (60–39) with amendment
  • House agreed to Senate amendment on March 21, 2010 (219–212)
  • Signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010

The name may change but the number stayed the same.

Ron Paul has stood for/and voted according to the Constitution for over 20 years. He hasn't strayed - ever. So basically what you said about his haters is true.

As for foreign policy, he says declare war as the constitution demands, by congress. That isn't weak on foreign policy - its just being true to the constitution. Most people seem to think its okay to stray from the constitution sometimes..I don't.

All of the other assumptions..bleh...

Wrong. Aggressive foreign policy is harming us and the rest of the world. Our current foreign policy is making enemies. Do you think they hate us because we are "free" (we aren't free by the way) No, they hate us because we bomb them and occupy their land.

Ron Paul knows a strong defense is necessary, but we start wars and get into the business of every country, overthrowing governments, etc. and have been doing it for far too long. Now we borrow money to fight the wars. That is not defense.

By the way, people made similar comments about Barack Obama and foreign policy.

America cannot afford the aggressive industrial military complex, and its bad policy anyway.
You do realize that if we pulled all troops out of every foriegn base, that the world would probably descend into financial and physical chaos?

back to the topic... Maybe the SCOTUS should define insurance. Insurance is not a guarantee for anything and we assume that it is just that because we get promised (lied to) in order for us to purchase it. What is healthcare but an attempt to avoid the inevitable anyhow or slow it down. We have and were lied to about this law and its' precepts, ordinarily that would be enough to abolish it. If Congress was to act they should hold the President responsible, I mean the SCOTUS just defined their role in the matter. And put the IRS in charge of enforcing it, what is up with that? does anyone not know the reach of the IRS?

Were we not told that there would not be any taxes levied on the middle class only the rich?

I wonder if Obamacare will cover the installlation of glass stomachs.

As set forth in the law the IRS doesn't have the same powers to collect this tax.
