Come come! European countries, Australia and New Zealand have State health systems far in advance of the one you are about to adopt. Even Thailand, comparatively poor by Western standards, has a health system for its nationals. None of those countries are anything like China. I don't know what system China has but if it's as good as the one in the UK, great for them.

The suggestion that forced sterilisation will follow this legislation is either a joke or a red hen herring.

Why is that? Tax supported abortion is a big deal with Democrats...Oh, they claim it's all about women's health issue but they really do have an obession with destroying the unborn.

By the way, Planned Parenthood is the brainchild of Margret Sanger, an openly avowed eugenist....It was her plan to rid America of the less desirable, and forced sterilization was part of that plan.
A society which sees no problem with destroying the life of an unborn, only days from its first breath, is not too far from limiting the reproduction of whole swaths of society.

As far as I can see, the issue of forced sterilisation has been created within this thread and is not part of the new provisions for health care. It's probably been invented by someone, who can see no further than the TV propaganda, in a desperate attempt to discredit an important social advance.

All I know is that it means healthcare is going to be more expensive and rationed. Socialized medicine is not the greatest road to go down. We have a system that treats everyone and there are current laws saying a hospital cannot give someone care without insurance. The talking points the President makes is misleading its not going to be a affordable thing for those who dont have insurance unless you are poor aka living on the streets. I know of a story a homeless person would fake being ill just to sleep in the hospital overnight and ended up costing tax payers over 300,000 in his many fake trips. Healthcare is not broken its the fraud and abuse.......PERIOD.

I agree with you. The IRS does not come after those without car insurance thats mandated...So why is healthcare so different then car insurance everyone is suppose to have it right?? I personally think this is a Government intrusion and that forcing someone who does not want something to me is not lawful. Whats next are they going to mandate that we can not farm or raise livestock? Healthcare the care itself is the best there is... its the fraud and abuse from docs and insurances and non insured that breaks it
