Thanks, daxi. These videos are my "archives" to keep track of changes, and will hopefully help me detect patterns in future broods. Plus, it's also fun to watch the vids to see how much they change... lol!Congratulations to you keep posting it is fun to watch them changing.

@cmom on the yellow legs.
I went to that show yesterday too. My RIR hen placed RB and Reserve American behind Toni's. Mine went on to win Best Jr. Large Fowl and Best in show Jr. overall. Hers was very nice to see in person. I can definetly tell why hers beat mine, her pullet was in a class of her own. A lot of nice bantam reds there too.Central New Jersey Poultry show yesterday. It's a small show with small classes but another good showing by Heather and Laura and my friend, Toni Candea, and secretary of the Red's club. Ch Am with a very young pullet. I told Toni I really like this pullet and hope she continues to finish well, as she must before the larger shows of the Ohio National and Knoxville. Good young female.![]()
Nice little Red Bantam here too. Won Best in Show. Can't beat that. Congratulations to the Candeas.

Only 3 large fowl in show, right?
That post reads like a Greek tragedy. So sad...Yeah, Toni's second bird was a cull sale bird. It's common enough to just coop in stuff like that than it is to mess around on the sales floor sometimes. LF Reds are rare in the NorthEast. At the largest, most prestigious North East Poultry Congress, there were only 3 LF Reds this past year.
In case folks doubt just how rare these LF Reds have become, that's about all you need to know. In the region where the bird was first created and named after a state in that region as well. Three, just three LF Reds in show. Says it all pretty much.
