The Heritage Rhode Island Red Site

thank you for your answers. I always thought that this is simply white version of Rhode Island Red, that is the way they are descripted here in Poland. I will start other thread and write more there.

Duane urch has them [Urch/Turnland Hatchery]. I've not seen them but Duane usually produces some pretty good birds.

Here's one of this year's late hatched Cockerels. He's part Mohawk, Bob.

I got a hunch Don is about sold out for this year. You may be able to talk some eggs out of him for next spring. If you dont live to far from him drive and put them in the back seat and take them home. Mr. Roy may have some birds left they should do well in your climate. Both great birds. My choice is the Reds. bob

Here is some of my bantam reds 09-10 hatch. I still need to cull so more pics coming soon

Those are some very nice dark colored Rhode Island Red Bantams. Would nt be nice if every Rhode Island Red in the world had color and type like these bantams. Said to say in america there may only be 200 adult birds that have type in color like these in Large Fowl. Found a new strain of Jimmy Swansons Rose Comb Rhode Island Reds today on the Heritage Page. So hopefully we can get some birds from this lady and reproduce this line as it is a dark colored and very rare line of R I Red Large Fowl. Thanks for posting the pictures. Mr. Bell would be proud of you. bob

the ckl in the upper right hand corner has a top line like a large fowl notice the flat back going from the hackle to the oil gland area. You can see he has a good brick shape coming and a nice medium width of tail and its beattle green. nice.
