Hey Jim yes I know exactly what you mean here as I have a bout 50 random rogues that I let out to pasture everyday. My cousin leases my pasture land here and has about 12 rodeo bucking bulls and around 20 something Momma bucking bull makers with youngins on this property, Well all I can say is for the last 3 years I've been turning those mongrels out on the fields, he has yet to have to drag the fields down (you know what I mean here, too) and my neighbor I get my sawdust from he especially requests those banty/game whatchamacallit eggs specifically when he comes for his weekly egg order pickup. He says they taste better, those ones with the dark orange yolks that breaks your toast or tears your biscuit all-up when you make a pull through it and try and sop it up off the plate. LOLA friend of mine that rides to church had some sitting around their house for Halloween so when I saw them I told her if they were going to throw them away to let me know and I would give them to the chickens. She gave them to me and the chickens love them.
It's nice to give them treats since they are so nice to give me eggs. lol Nothing like the fresh eggs after they eat scraps, grass, bugs etc. Folks that have never had them don't know what they are missing. Oh my yes, I imagine your goats really dive into them. lol I don't have anything anymore but the chickens and 3 little dogs. When we left the farm, we had 84 head of beef cattle and 165 head of hogs. And of course a flock of chickens that kept the manure piles loosened up. ha,ha Now those were some good eggs.

Hey Jiff,Chris09 I was going to comment on those awesome looking girls you got posted up (finallyLOL) they sure look good and you are doing good with them too. I so hope to be there with you guys in a few years when I figure out how to put all this stuff together I get on here and from good birds too. I think I lucked up on my first go with Reds and will give it a good go-around here this spring to see what I'm able to do. Put up some of those BIG boys when you get a chance I remember the one you posted a couple of years back I'm sure you've only went ahead since then.![]()

Thanks Jeff, thats him there Chris I remember you making sure I measured him with(by) the demensions of the cage LOL you gave the specifics on the sizes of even the rectangles too LOL yeah it was a rose combed boy that looks/looked just like that one LOL
I was trying to say in my post the reason I didn't get around to commenting on the girls at the time. I just got a new set up on the computer, well.. shoot I hadn't mastered the old one in 3 years so I surely "ain't nowhere" near close to getting the new one down pat anytime soon LOL they do like nice and plump too, just the way I like my gals too LOL
Jim those look just like little reds to me, LOL glad you were so successful with those shipped eggs, you have very good luck with them evidently.![]()
