Yes sir Jeff BUT I have done a lot and will be doing more of getting rid of some of the others. When spring comes I will have 3 lines ( Matt's Red's, Nelson and both RC and SC of the Underwood. I'm not even concerned with keeping chickens for eggs customers. I have gotten so overwhelmed with these reds that that is it for me from now on. As long as these lines work for me, I will never have anything any different. My Nelson and both varieties of the Underwood's have proven to be very decent layers and if these from Matt are close to them, that is it for me. lol There may be others out there just as nice, I really don't know but I am completely satisfied with what I have to work with.
I had a couple of hens years ago and one was named Blue and the other Violet who looked identical.
This is Mr. Blue I been trying to get a decent shot of him all week. His twin is Mr. Purple they look identical.
I wish there was someone that lived near me that wanted my RC RIR's....
I just do not have room to work with these birds and my single combs....
Yea I just finished my hen community yesterday. Worked in the pouring off and on rain for the last 4 days to get it done. 6x12 house with 6 6' roosting poles. 32x64 area for them all to roam. The roosters side is the same. But only a 6x6 house. Next on the list are breeder pens. But no rush at the moment for those. Not bad for a 50 yr old man!!
