I use #11 on hens and the #12 are already pretty snug on most of my cockerels

Hey Steven, are you using the spiral bands or bandettes?  I am ordering some of the #14 for my RC boys. I don't think the 12 will work for them. lol
Jim

That's what I was worried about but hadn't found the bandettes larger than a size 12. Where did you get your 14's Jim

Bandettes I guess #14 is next. I would like to try something different though because I have had a few of these to break.I toe punch everything but the bands make it easier to identify individual birds.

So what is your preference to use when the 12's get too small?
I have never had to go any larger until this year.

Ron the first thing I did is blow up this shot and count the wires. Congratulation's you added two inches to your male line in one season.I would have been happy with just one inch in length growth.
This is the kind of male that Ricky sent me a picture of the year before he died. He will fill out and look like a million bucks. He is got the brick shape extended keel and should have that classic tail that your males showed last year.

I bet you will have more like him and maybe his sister will have more length like him and can be mated back to the sire who I hope was that nice male you
photographed last year by the fence. Good Job.

See if you put your mind to it = it will happen. bob
