Thought we'd share...
Our oldest daughter got married a few months ago and moved to a subdivision in town.
So... we built her a chicken tractor for Christmas.
We wrapped a 50 lb bag of layer pellets to put under the tree
with a note saying "3 hens from our hen house are included".

Fun Fun... we weren't sure what she'd think but she was WAY excited.
I'm afraid the younger 2 daughters are now trying to figure out if they can get a chicken tractor on the balcony of an apartment or dorm room.

Now that is just way too cool

It even looks like you have hinges to open the top for easy access

There are three pairs of hinges...
One on one side of the top,
One in the triangle flip down door at the back to gather eggs,
And the lower part of the back also flips down to access the hanging feeder.
The back also has a heavy rope attached for daily moving.
The bucket in the front corner has 2 chicken nipples in the bottom.
Making sure feeders and waterers are of the ground makes filling and moving much easier.
In extreme cold the tractorcan bepulled closeto the house and a disc deicer tossed in the bucket.

I keep seeing your great coops and pens. I'm sure you could get a nice stash of spending money by coming up with blueprints and how to digital papers for those of us that like help in the designing department.

Ok don't forget Fred, I am in line for some "real" RIR! Waiting, praying and salivating to start my true flock! Anxious to keep them going. As I learn the imperfections better will cull into the egg selling/eating flock then will further cull in the permanent fashion.

Thinking about an incubator savings tin for future if need to.

Wow I was impressed before but now I can see all the work & thought you put in to building
this chicken tractor I am really impressed it is no wonder your daughter was so enthused
this is truly a fantastic Christmas Present

Fred... one of our keeper cockerels... He thinks he's "da man", but he's very sweet about his top dog status.
disregard the color... I had to use a flash... but he is much darker than he looks with more yellow legs and plenty of horn color.
