Hoping to get a better start with some SC Rhode islands soon

My Reds came from Paul Smith in Texas, he even ships chicks.

His Ameraucanas are very nice too, I have a bunch growing out from this Spring.

Do you have a web-site or contact number for Paup Smith? I spent over 500.00 on heritage rir's eggs this spring from two different breeders. The storm here wipe out three dozen eggs, and the rest are not what i think they should look like, except one rooster which was very slow to feather out. There are plenty of eggs for sale, but most are either production reds or part rir and production reds. Hard to believe many don't know the difference.

Can anyone tell me when I should expect my pullet to start laying? She is from a mid to late Feb hatch and from William Bennett's line. If that helps any.

My pullets hatched Feb. 6th and we got our first egg the last week of August.
