These chickens lay some pretty big eggs, so I am not sure if Prius could handle them. Also I have worked for the same Ford dealership since 1988 and I would have a hard time passing off a Prius as a Ford!

Thanks to everyone who has received or is going to receive chicks or eggs from me! I hope every one of y'all have success. As my Grandpa used to tell me all the time "Your success is my success"

These eggs are the largest I've ever set. They take careful hand turning. If I get a few hens out of these and they lay me some of these whopper eggs, I'll consider it a HUGE success!

Hey Fred, I drove a Prius for 7 years until recently, and I could get almost as much chicken, dog, cat feed and groceries in that thing than my husband's Ford Truck, and it got 48 MPG.

I know. I chose my imaginary vehicle poorly. Should have said Isetta or smart car or similar. I'll do better next time.

I have three of Ron's hens from last year and they are very friendly Hens. They really have not been laying that long--Winter had them start late-but hey are already laying nice long eggs.

I have six chicks in the incubator and three just hatched in the incubator. There is one zipping now too. That is 10 out of 11 set!

A couple of pictures of the first six:

Well we are hoping for a great hatch on Sunday. Thanks so much for the eggs Ron, we're really excited to see how things turn out. And Fred...I have a Fiat 500.. with the back seats down I can do and entire flatbed dolly from Costco, 24" high

Ron, you might want to double check. I think that chick on the right may have eaten the 11th chick!

Good job on the hatch.
