Wow! Educational day at the APA Nationals.
LF SC RIR was Steven Gribble's cockerel.
LF RC was one of my pullets.

And huge congrats to @sgribble
What a beautiful SC cockerel he has. He went to on win Champion American. Congrats Steven!

As a side note, Steven also took BOB in both of his other breeds. Very good weekend. I'm so tickled for him. Will post awards pics tomorrow

with only a pair now the long and painful work starts. Hahaha. But very happy with the two. He let me pick out the two I wanted yay!! A few reasons I picked these two. I certainly have a pair I can work with.

Steven's Champion American. Between horrid lighting, cheap cameras and my poor photography skills, pay no attention. Steven was kind enough to allow Walt Leonard, Rip Stavley and I handle this bird on Friday during a walk about. He's the the real deal, believe you me.

I meant, so meant to take my camera to the upper floor where a junior exhibitor had some outstanding Don Nelson line Reds. I met with the young man and talked to him at length. I asked him lots of questions about his birds and knew them well. He almost got teary eyed when he said, "I just love these Reds". I apologize for not getting any proper photos.To me, talking with juniors is time very well spent and more folks should take time from the busy show weekend to do so. You can spot those real juniors, who are our future, in a quick hurry.

Great Red birds and the young man stole the show up there his Champion Nelson Reds. Congrats to him as well.
