Praying that all of you in the south, south/east, north east made it through the storm okay. We got lots of rain then turned to snow around 10 PM last night and hasn't stopped yet. Just that real fine stuff though. Not mounting up to badly. Keep those reds safe. lol

The red dangles under the beak. Most older roosters have long ones, hens have short ones. What's a waddle?
Thats the best Red I have seen all week. Off I go to Mohawk Farms with a bunch of little Mohawk Bantam Roosters to see if we can help Matts sons bantam line. Its dark so no pictures of the Orange Chickens today. We will be in the barn with lights and show coops so maybe something big will be in there.

I'm looking forward to showing my LF Heritage Red pullets for the first time at a show in Inverness, FL on Nov. 10th. It will be interesting on what the judges think and it will help to improve the line. I may show them at the Florida Sunshine Classic in Lake City, FL on January 12th.
I'm sure some did somewhere but they more than likely only got Reserve champion behind a production Hi-sex leghorn or Hubbards ISA sex-link hybrid in some week long egg-laying contest. Surely not for being in a beauty contest or a tail feather ruffling act on a showgirl stage in Vegas or wherever. LOLThats the best Red I have seen all week. Great week for Reds at the shows. Keep pushing the breed. Did any Cherry Eggers make it on Champion Row this weekend?
