The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Pics
Aella inched away from the group, jumping up onto a thick branch of an odd looking tree, hauling herself onto a high branch, panting when she reached her destination, chest heaving.
She swung her legs across the length of the tree, leaning her back against the hard, thick trunk, balancing herself carefully. Hunger pangs clawed at her stomach, starving after several days with little food. It weakened her, and she knew it. Can't be weak. Her jaw clenched at the thought, her features hardening as she caressed a small flame in the palm of her hand, the little flame as hungry as she was.
If I'm weak, they'll know. Call me crazy and get away with it. Hand me over, right? Right. Can't escape 'em, stupid things. Infuriating.
She hummed softly, fingers dancing over the clawing flame, the fire doing nothing to harm her bleeding finger tips. Legs crossing at the ankles, Aella looked down at the ground. She was hidden, but if someone looked directly upwards, they would see her. Why am I even here? She brought the flame close to her face, searching its roaring depths for answers. What do they want with us?

Kipp smiled nodding. "Heh, pretty good, though everyone says it's not fair that I've got wings that I can smack them with too."

Kipp listened to the conversation and introductions, for the most part zoning out wondering if his whole class had fallen through the portal here too, or if it had just been him. As his eye's wandered he finally spotted Cam gesturing for him to come over an talk to her.

"Huh, maybe, I mean who knows who else has been transported here. Actually. I think some of my class may have come through too, but they aren't here. So, it's possible, I guess." Kipp subconsciously rubbed at his sore arm as he spoke. "We should probably look for them. At the very least it's safer together than it is apart."

The spanish was a bit difficult to understand, but at least she'd had some exposure to it, and was able to piece together what he was trying to say. She didn't really want to fight in the first place, but she wasn't going to just be a push over either, so she stood her ground waiting for Aellas reaction.

Juliana finally relaxed, dropping the paint can back into its holster on her hip. She squinted after Aella as she walked away. Like I'd want to be anywhere near her. She rolled her eyes and wandered away kicking her crispy jacket as she walked past. It was now charred beyond use. Stupid crazy fire girl.

Juliana smirked at the curly haired boys misfortune. And looked over at the new portal that had spewed him out.
"Careful. Those things apparently like to just randomly appear and grab people."
“Thanks for the heads up,” he said, in a sarcastic, but amused tone. Bane then got to his feet, leaning against the tree for support as he felt his nose to make sure it was still functioning. Once he was sure it was in working order, he focused his gaze on his surroundings. His eyes lingering for a moment on the trail of mud which ran across a limestone dais, his brain suddenly putting two and two together. Oof. That’s embarrassing. His attention then turned towards all the other people that were around him, many looked just about as confused as he felt. There were others, however, that were acting as if this were some sort of unexpected family reunion. It wasn’t long before Bane began to notice the unique appearances of some of these individuals. He spotted a boy who had a pair of wings sprouting from his back and a pink-haired dude with, his eyes did a double take, yes, with three eyes. His gaze traveled again, this time landing on a man who was roughly the size of a ken doll and standing next to a fluffy tabby cat. “I must’ve hit my head harder than I thought...” he muttered to himself.

Aria’s smile slipped “I’m sorry to hear. Im new here so if you and Lilith want to hang with me your more than welcome” Aria tried to smile.
Kylan glanced back at Lilith, but she had turned away and he gave a slight frown. She's so different now. The Lili he had always known would've started throwing punches the moment Aella showed signs of aggression, and would've taken control of the situation the moment they showed up at the platform, yet right now she seemed content to just watch and learn.
He turned back to Aria, giving another grin. "Of course. Um... The reason I'm here is my little brother, Torin, jumped through one of the creepy space rifts, we're trying to find him. If you see him, that'd be amazing. He, uh, has an Irish accent, look's like me but little an' with curly hair."

“It may come in handy later” Ellie reasoned
Ciro ran his renewed hand up his opposite arm. "I mean no offense, but I'm hoping there isn't a later." His anxiously traveling hand reached on the sleeve of his t-shirt and found a ragged tear he hadn't known was there. He'd probably gotten that when he was cleaning up debris around the tianguis last night. Maybe that's where his missing shoe had ended up. "I have a lot resting on my shoulders, just as I'm sure tú todo do."

“It’s okay. I completely understand. I am one of the originals, last time we fought giant bugs” Ellie said

Take distanced himself from the growing group, becoming crowded and eventually they’d be up behind him. Which he desperately wanted to avoid. He went and sat up against one of the nearby trees, keeping his eyes on the group just in case they headed out. But for now, it just seemed like they were all being social butterflies and developing little friendships, which wasn’t for Take. He brought up one of his knees and rested his arm on top. We gotta find those younger brats though, the ones that got separated.. like Blair’s niece.

Aria flashed them a smile before she turned to go. She ran a hand through her hair. Her eyes met Eve’s violet ones. There was something odd about that girl. She glanced around the group.
“I’ll keep an eye out” Aria said
Kylan shot her another small smile. "Thanks."
”Well, I think the only reasonable thing to do would be to go out and leave this platform, explore the forest. Together. Staying together. I'm certain our purpose here is not to just sit and wait to get eaten by birds.” He looked meaningfully at the very large bird soaring overhead. Of course, regular sized birds tended to be dangerous for him as well.

”Yeah, we should. Maybe there’s some kind of thing around here that likes taking singular, individualized children with them.” Sort of like a grizzly bear. But not.

”Do you need any help?” Kyle asked, scampering over to where the salamander was. Rylie followed like a fluffy brown thunderhead, sniffing the amphibian.
”Shoo!” Kyle brushed him away. ”I’m very good at applying bandages and the like. I just don't have all the supplies.” He reached into his pockets and shook his head, before looking hopefully at backpack kid.
Lilith watched each of the different people for a second, before bending down and grabbing the chick nearest to her and holding it in her hand, before stepping up towards Kyle, noting the he had a cat and that she had a dog and six chickens surrounding her. For some reason, the mother hen still decided Lilith was apparently the safest place for her clutch and stayed near the sickly girl.
She cleared her throat, looking down at the incredibly small man. At this point, nothing surprises me. "I suggest we keep an eye out while we walk, from what I've heard, we're missing two young boys." She stopped, realizing he probably already knew that and thus the newcomers words meant nothing to him.
