The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"But you just said—" Aella's brows drew together in bemusement, but almost instantly her face fell. "The kids were eaten?" She echoed, taking a step back. "No, not...they can't have been...and I was alone...it didn't take me. They're just lost..." she glanced beside her, but both Blair and Take had abandoned her. "...right?"

Blair had stared up at him, just stared, waiting for an answer. But all she got was a red flicker in his gaze and a short, cold retort. "Take..." she whispered, but he was already leaving the barn. No, no, no. Not good...not good at all.
She turned quickly, following him. When she found him sitting on the boulder, staring into the woods, she hauled herself onto the rock as well, but didn't sit. She wanted to be angry for what he had said, and she was, but she was also concerned. The demon's supposed to be sealed away.
She crossed her arms over her chest, looking down at him, her emotions closed off. The wind tugged her hair out of her face; her voice quiet when she spoke. "What's going on?"
Take was just about to get off the rock and head into the forest before Blair eventually joined him, giving her a hard stare from where he sat, “What do you mean?” he asked, completely oblivious to what she saw in his eyes moments ago, “You heard everything that’s going on, with that we-sa thing in the forest...” Something wanted him to get out of that spot and avoid Blair and the conversation, but he was too distracted by his thoughts of going after the creature.

Blair bit her tongue, repressing the urge to snap at him. "Not about the we-sa," she muttered. Maybe it was nothing. Maybe I should just leave him alone. It could have been the sun or something...or...or a shadow. He's sealed away, he can't escape, so...it's fine it's just...Love, I don't know who you think you're kidding. You know what you saw...
"Why is he back, Take? I thought...I thought he was sealed away. I thought he was gone. How the hell did he come back?"

Take stood up immediately, confusion shone on his face. So it did weaken? He got out? He stood there speechless, trying to think of a possible answer that made sense, “Maybe...” he furrowed his brows, looking around as if it would aid him. Eventually settling his gaze on her seriously, “When we became kids... it probably messed up the seal or undid it when I became my age again” he explained, And he can see everything again, especially Blair He tore his eyes away and jumped off the boulder, walking towards the line of trees, “I can’t worry about that damn thing right now.. I need to find the monster...” he muttered under his breath, curling his fingers into tight fists.

"Great." Blair hissed under her breath, and flung herself off the bolder, following after him. "No, you're not." She cut him off, walking directly in front of him. She faced him, her eyes flickering golden. "You can't go after that thing by yourself. Did you not hear Korim? It takes people who are alone." She shook her head. "We'll be leaving soon, I'm sure. With the group, and it'll be safer. Right now, you need to stay here."

Take stopped when Blair got right in front of him, “And what are we gonna do Blair? Walking around like idiots asking random people if they’ve seen missing kids and then what? Wait around for something to come up? Screw that, I’m going right to the damn source” he snapped harshly, his voice rising into a near yell as he pointed into the forest. He walked around her, progressing further, “I’m tired of not being able to do anything to find the kids, and by going by myself maybe that stupid kid snatcher will show up and I’ll find out if they’re still alive or not..” he muttered.

"No, no..." Aella's hand crumpled the paper into her fist, her head shaking. "No such thing as failing. Setbacks, yes, many. Many setbacks. But no failing." A slight smile twisted her lips upward instead of down. "We'll find 'em. We just need to know where to look." She raised the fist with the drawing in it, nodding. "We have a starting point. We know what we're looking for. Do you have any idea where these things live?"
“Yes...” Korim paused, thinking, sadness and happiness swirling in his brain. His uncle, Edon... the chance to get him back.
“Malakum. The great fortress out east.” A yearning for adventure dawned on him. “Wait, if you go to that place... looking for them, could I go with you?”
(Seriously I wanna write 'Fighting happened' T-T )

Kipp hissed at the sudden pain, his compliant attitude vanishing replaced with vengeful anger. He instantly reacted, by punching the guy in the face. He staggered back raising his arm to lash out with his whip again. Kipp plowed forward tackling him to the ground, though not escaping another bloody welt from the whip snapping across his chest.

Frenzied panic had him doing things he couldn't imagine bringing himself to do. Repeatedly striking his fists at his face, hitting harder when his blows were blocked. Rage filled him, driving him to keep going, as though all the blame for everything that had ever happened to him fell to this boy who he had pinned to the ground.

A sliver of guilt wormed it's way into his stomach telling him to stop. His hands were red bloodied by both his own and the boys blood. Kipp shakily grasped the boys wrists and held him down panting as he tried to reign in the adrenaline that was screaming for him to keep going.

He hadn't ever been on the winning side of a fight before, not this kind of a fight. Winning didn't make him feel any better than losing. If anything it was worse. Kipp swallowed back the bile that rose in this throat, this kid didn't deserve to be beaten. Run. Run now before anyone else comes.

Kipp pushed himself away stumbling to his feet. His eyes met Ashira's for a brief moment in the darkness. She seemed completely shut off from what was going on. He grabbed her hand with his pulling her up despite the protest of his aching fingers, and grabbed one of the swords from the ground. Pulling her behind him as he ran toward Fred, and the others.
The boy unpeeled himself from the ground. Blood dripped down his chin from where he bit his tongue. He yelped, calling for reinforcements. Other boys and men with whips arrived, snapping them, chasing the harpy down, shouting.

"And get yourself killed in the process!" Blair snarled, golden flickering wildly in her eyes. "I know you want to figure this out. I do too, Take. Emma is in with those kids. Possibly hurt. Possibly dead." She paused, chest heaving as she followed him, grabbing his wrist roughly. "But who knows how many of those things are, or how dangerous they are. And I can't lose you to those thing too." She took a deep breath, her voice trembling at the last sentence. She collected herself the best she could, her eyes fading back to yellow. "You can go. But I'm not staying here if you do, I won't sit around worrying. But I don't think this is a good idea, it's best if we just wait..."

Aella eyed him warily, her eyes narrowed. "Why?" She questioned. Why would he want to go? Don't trust him.
"What is it to you? Why do you want to go?"

“A lot of my friends and family were taken by the we-sa, and I’d like to help you get them back. And I’d really like to get out of this place. I’ve never left the village before. I’d like to see world. And...” Korim’s mouth curled into a one-sided grin. “You probably need a translator. Not to mention, a guide.”

Take turned back around to face her, his wrist in her firm grasp. “I can handle it, I’ve already made up my mind... plus I’m not asking for your permission” He smiled confidently, looking down at her. “I’ll see you soon, alright?” his tone more endearing now, refusing to say a proper goodbye as he brought a free hand to her cheek caressingly. He knew he wouldn’t see Blair again for a while especially since he was going deep into the forest, and the group would be departing somewhere else soon. He hoped that if he found the kids no matter state what they were in, he and the group would rejoin again.
