The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“A lot of my friends and family were taken by the we-sa, and I’d like to help you get them back. And I’d really like to get out of this place. I’ve never left the village before. I’d like to see world. And...” Korim’s mouth curled into a one-sided grin. “You probably need a translator. Not to mention, a guide.”
Aella looked at him, raised her brows slightly, and then gave a slight nod. "Alright, kid." She grinned down at him, shoving the paper into her pocket, reaching out with her other hand and clapped him on the shoulder. "Welcome to the team...or whatever we are. Not really sure, actually, but welcome anyway."

“That is... if I can get away from Mam,” Korim decided. “If you would like, you could take a rest. I can make some arrangements. I’ll try and look for your friends, and some supplies.” He looked the motley crew over. They were woefully unprepared.

Take turned back around to face her, his wrist in her firm grasp. “I can handle it, I’ve already made up my mind... plus I’m not asking for your permission” He smiled confidently, looking down at her. “I’ll see you soon, alright?” his tone more endearing now, refusing to say a proper goodbye as he brought a free hand to her cheek caressingly. He knew he wouldn’t see Blair again for a while especially since he was going deep into the forest, and the group would be departing somewhere else soon. He hoped that if he found the kids no matter state what they were in, he and the group would rejoin again.
"Come on, Take." Blair sighed heavily, letting his hand go, her hand falling to her side. What if something happens to him? What if he can't escape that thing? And if we never find them again? I can't lose him...I say good riddance, personally.
"Let me come with you." She placed her hand over his on her cheek, looking up at him. "We'll them together. If I can just catch a scent of Emma or Haddie and Kipp we'll find them in no time," her hand squeezed his tightly, almost too tightly. "Please."

"Well, I can't give you any advice with that. You could just...sneak off." Aella shrugged. Parental figures were nothing she had experience with, and the caretakers she had when she was little had meant nothing to her, and she snuck off all the time without even a care if they were worried.
Nine times out of ten, they weren't.
"Nah, I don't need rest. I can help, if you need it?"

Takes smile faltered, shaking his head with a sigh, “It didn’t work the first time.. besides the we-sa only goes after people who are by themselves..” he murmured, denying her request. He took her hand away from his face and kissed her forehead “Besides, you need to look over the group, you’re the only one besides me that can protect them.” his hand fell from her face and turned away from her, ambly walking into the line of trees and disappearing from sight.

“I can’t do that...” Korim said. Borealan teens rarely exhibited rebellious tendencies, and while Korim would take the occasional jaunt through the Papercutter Forest as long as he was with friends (only his little sisters weren’t allowed in there) Korim would never just leave his family like that.
“You sure?” Korim asked, raising a smooth grey brow. Her long blond hair had mostly loosed itself from her updo, and matted in odd places, though that didn’t obscure her elvin identity. She looked like she had been punched in both eyes, and her cheeks were an unhealthy hollow. The elves he had known were slender, not skeletal.
And her eyelids drooped over bloodshot red eyes, making it hard to figure out where the iris ended and the white began.
He had never seen someone look so haggard in his life, not even the crazy old crone living in the mountains.
“You look like you need some sleep.”

*we-sa come cover his face with gold power and snatch Taco away*

"Take—" Blair broke off as he kissed her forehead gently, and he turned and dissapeared into the forest. A choked sigh forced it's way out as she crossed her arms, lifting one hand and placing the palm against her forehead. "Please be careful, please, please be careful." She turned, making her way back to the barn, anxiety crawling over her. "We've got to get going," she growled to who ever would listen.

"Why not?" Aella's face screwed up in obvious confusion at his words. She brushed it off, though, shrugging again. "'Course I'm sure. I already slept." Hunger, however, clawed at her belly, raging and growling softly. The urge to ask for food was incredibly strong, but they had already given them shelter, and most people who provided shelter didn't provide food. Like Grayson?
She rolled her eyes at the thought of her only source of shelter, then realized that Korim when still there and looked back down at him, her fingers toying with the knot of the flannel around her waist. "I'm fine. Let's go."
