The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"Oh, I guess that makes sense." She said. A cool breeze finally broke through the thick humid air, rustling the leaves in the trees. "This place is amazing. The trees in central park aren't like this. They aren't happy." She closed her eyes enjoying the coldness on her skin. "I like this place."
He scanned the surrounding trees in more detail, “They do have a strange, but beautiful aura about them,” he said at last, “although I’d like it better here if there was a nice, big river or lake nearby. So, are you from New York then?” He inquired, remembering that there was a Central Park in New York City.

“It triggers me alright? I get mad anxiety when people do that” Take explained, clenching his fists as he took deep breaths to soothe himself.

Suprisingly, Hana decided to utter her first words for the first time since she got here, even though it wasn’t the most desired question.
“Something.. along those lines..” she murmured softly.

Kipp paled at her answer, he was trying to joke around, and failed miserably.

"O-Oh." He turned his attention away from the ground and stared anxiously off into the forest. Why? Movement in the distance caught his attention, he couldn't make out what it was, but it didn't seem to move much like an animal, and they were supposed to be looking for the missing kids. Maybe it was Noah, or one of the other missing kids. There was also the possibility it could have been someone from his class.
"Guys, is there a reason we're not calling for the missing kids?" He asked raising his voice loud enough for at least most of the group to hear.

Aella raised her brows, the fire on her arm dulling until it died out. She shrugged at him. "Fine, then. No need to be so aggressive about it. I didn't do it purposely." She muttered, moving past him and vanishing into the center of the group.

"I am, where are you from?" She asked. It was getting dark fast, but thankfully the trees had started to thin out a bit as they went, allowing a bit more light to pass through to the ground. Moss covered boulders almost seemed to spring up in place of the trees.

“Texas,” he responded. The uneasy feeling which had been gathering up inside him was steadily becoming stronger as the light continued to fade. His brain began contemplating what would be the smartest thing for them to do as the darkness continued to consume more and more of the landscape around them.

Take sighed, looking back at Charlie and the girl that was tagging along with him. Shoot, they just saw all of that right? This phobia thing is freaking stupid.. too bad I can’t afford to see a therapist.. He kept walking forwards, his thoughts too scrambled to observe the unique flora and the path that was much wider due to Cam’s abilities.

"No clue. Can't seem to get a straight answer around here." Aella responded, coming directly behind the pink haired man from earlier. The darkness set the ginger at unease, flames glowering brightly the palms of her hands. Are the bushes moving? They're definitely moving...what the...?
"Yeah," Charlie sighed, "that's what always happens." He gazed uneasily at the close-growing foliage. Pointed leaves and thorns kept sticking to his sleeves. The humid air had gradually started to get colder and darker.

Rylie nudged him.
Kyle was satisfied by the overall lack of stragglers and caused the cat to go back to the front of the line, navigating the thick undergrowth with ease.
The forest was quiet, other than the steps of the people and the attempted conversation. Too quiet. Rylie's ears twitched, and his hackles were stiffening. He was on edge. Too often, he glared at a certain bush like he was certain something was there, looking back at them.

Cam wasn't happy with the forest's sudden change in mood, but at least it didn't seem to be showing any malicious tendencies. Not the trees themselves, anyway. Too many times did she see glittering eyes or a tail disappearing around a corner.
It was becoming rather crowded too, she couldn't walk around a tree without having to squeeze around a bush as well. "Ouch!" she said. A tree with blade-shaped leaves had given her a tiny scratch on the arm. She ripped off one of the leaves. It didn't seem very sharp, but it was paper-thin, and it did have some kind of edge. The scratch felt something bad, kind of like a paper cut.
She shoved this into her pocket-the one without her dirty socks. It was getting rather painful to walk since many of the bushes had interesting features -like inch-long thorns.
At this rate, I'm going to need someone to carry me, like Haddie does.

Charlie watched the trees move, scared that they would attack them like before. Finally, he noticed Cam looking triumphant and abruptly remembered her powers. He was too focused on the trees to notice Take, but Maya watched the scene cautiously, not sure if she should do something.
"Your friends are nice."
"What?" Charlie stared at her.
"Nothing," she muttered.
