The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Aella underestimated the little man. For such a tiny thing, he had quite the brilliant mind. Now that she thought about it, it made sense. People, in this case people was Olim, always wanted power. They wanted control, and they wanted to rule whatever they could. If Olim could steal Earth's technology, he'd have exactly what he wanted: for people to surrender and bend to his will.
And along the way create chaos and mayhem amongst everything else on Earth. What better way to scare people into submitting to you then becoming one of the most powerful beings?

"I know." Blair grinned at him, following after him. She had no doubt in her mind that he would, and she'd do the exact same for him. It didn't even have to be said between them– either way they would cover for each other no matter what.
And that alone made things a little less scary.
"Makes sense, to me. If he successfully does it, then he'll have all the control he wants, over the Boreleans and Earth people as well." A thought crossed her mind as she listened to the conversations in the background. They were ultimately screwed if most of the group got turned against them. She'd seen only glimpses of what Take and his demon could do uncontrolled. Cam could easily command the flora to her will, and that alone could to so much damage. Ellie and her lasers, Aella's pyrokenies...
Her. If Olim got a hold of her, she didn't know what would happen. A cold shudder ran down her spine, and she no longer needed her beloved caffeine to keep her awake.
Eve.
They were all screwed if any of them got controlled, but Eve...She was the ultimate weapon. The sword among kitchen knives. Who wouldn't want control of a voice that could kill masses with a singular word?
She looked at Take briefly, her slightly widened gaze falling to Eve. "We're screwed," she whispered.
Take snaps from his bee fighting daydream to catch onto the new topic. Something about the Eve girl being controlled by Olim. He followed Blair’s gaze, seeing how terrified the young girl was. If only they had some sort of noise canceling ear buds on them would they not have to worry about this, but surely that technology didn’t exist here. He frowned, “Olim won’t control her, or any of us.. I won’t let that crap happen.” his tone resolute.

"That's not the way mind control works." Blair murmured under her breath. She was still watching Eve, worried that something really was going to happen. "We're done for if he gets to her."

Take narrowed his eyes, “Alrighty, we’ll figure something about that later.” He let go of Blair’s hand that he’d been holding onto since she helped him up and turned to Korim, throwing his hands behind his head in a lax attitude “So where are we gonna go first?” he asked, twisting his back to get the kinks out. He was ready to go, ready to leave this damp musty cave with a dead dragon that was starting to give off an odor.

“To the Rugæ settlement. And if we keep going north, we’re bound to get there soon,” Korim explained.

Kyle was surprised that everyone had accepted his theory right away, a little impressed, but also slightly disappointed that he didn’t get a chance to give his evidence.
“Yes, Eve could. But I think it’s a chance we need to take. This would be our last stand. It’s probably the only way we could get back home. If we don’t die doing that he’ll probably end up killing us in some other way.”

I’ve never been mimiced by a Mimic before. I’d be honored if a Mimic took my form,” Korim said.

“I don’t know about that,” said Korim. “Like I said, the Rugæ aren’t exactly our friends. We’ll already be indebted to them, and very fortunate, if they send us a guide. And even if Olim takes over the whole of Borealis, it won’t affect them very much. They’re remote and don’t have anything that he would want. I fear that the Rugæ just don’t care.”

Chion lit up at him agreeing to her request, taking his hand in hers as he continued his conversation with the others.

She then transformed into an identical Korim, minus any scars or injuries, and wearing the grey and yellow flowered dress, that now was a bit tight across the shoulders, and still slightly too long.

"Thank you so much!"

----

"It won't affect them." He echoed, disgusted with that answer. "We, can't just stand by, and let him do whatever he wants. Even if Kyle's wrong, and Olim isn't going after our planet. What he's doing here is wrong. And someone has to stop him." He stopped, feeling the heat from his anger in his cheeks. Holding back anything more scathing, for all he knew that was how Korim felt too. But even if it seemed impossible to fix, giving up, without even trying was as bad as working with the bad guy.

(Editing to add Kipps part))
“That’s so... weird!” Korim looked at Korim with a dress and put his arms to the side like a model presenting a brand new car. (Is she younger too or no?)
“Do I really sound like that?” Korim asked. He had always sounded a bit cooler in his head. Stuffy, deep, distinguished. Maybe this Korim sounded like that, but not nearly as much as he expected.

“I agree,” said Korim. “But like I said, the Rugæ aren’t a very sensitive people. They are independent and stubborn and don’t care to interfere with the affairs of others. And this is putting it veerry lightly.”

Take nods, swaying back and forth impatiently. He wants to hit the road already, get to this ‘Reggae’ settlement and persuade these people to help them out, which shouldn’t be left to him because he’d just use threats and force against them. He glances at the dress wearing Korim and chuckles, “That is gold.”
