The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Well, the people that don’t find it funny need to... lighten up,” Kevin said, smiling. “Ah, that makes sense.”
He glanced down at Tru. “He’s very handsome. What’s his name?” He crouched down and stuck his hand out for the dog to sniff, before remembering her manners. “May I?” Kevin asked, looking up at Lilith.
Lilith nodded. "Yeah, and of course, he loves everyone. His name is Tru." She said, watching as the dog's entire haunches started waving back and forth when Kevin crouched down beside him.
Aella was pleased when he didn't argue over her refusal to give her name, but blinked rapidly as the girl started shouting. "No need to yell," she commented, grabbing one of the girls wrists roughly. "Seriously. No need."
Kylan watched as Aella grabbed Juliana's wrist, ready to try and defend her from the angry girl if need be. Please don't fight, please don't fight...

"Massachusetts," Blair corrected quickly, unable to help herself, bring a hand up to his, grasping it tightly. "A-and I was. I had my niece with me, I had her in the park but...there...there was a door and she jumped through and I followed her through...she's gone but..."
She looked up at him, sighing, smiling slightly, despite the worry for her niece. "But you're here." She grasped his hand tightly, feeling his warmth. "And it's not a dream..."
Her face feels real.. though it sucks that I can’t pinch myself or something... this has got to be real then.
“Huh.. I.. just found a portal out at the track.. I don’t know if anyone else went through it too.. but we gotta find your niece though.”
Take took his hands away from her face and gave her a wide smile, his snaggletooth no longer existent. He leaned forward and kissed her, shutting his eyes for a moment then backed away, “I’ve missed you.” his gaze drifted down towards the border collie by Blair’s side. He knelt down, grabbing both sides of Kits face, ruffling her fur excessively, “I’ve missed you too Kit!” he laughed excitedly.

“Aww, hi Tru. You’re a sweetheart, aren’t you?” Kevin murmured, scratching behind Tru’s ear. He looked up at Lilith, still petting the dog. “What is he?”

Lilith smiled as the dog wiggled closer to Kevin, giving him a small lick on the nose. "He's a black border collie. Just turned two years old yesterday."

“Ew!” Kevin said laughing, wiping the slobber off of his nose. He glanced up at Lilith. “Really? So he’s still pretty much a puppy then.” He said, giving Tru one last pat before standing up.

"Yep." Lilith laughed, giving Tru a scratch on the head. "So, you got any other animals, or just chickens?" She asked, looking closer at their surroundings.

Lilith tried to keep a straight face, but slowly a sneaky grin slid over her face and she gave a raspy laugh. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. And I'm glad someone found it funny, finally. I do that every time I shake someone's hand for the first time." She answered, genuinely not too worried about her current predicament. She had Tru with her, and she knew her mother would never find her here, what was there to be worried about?
She indicated to her right arm. "It's a prosthetic, to explain what just happened."

Kylan froze, eyes fixated now on the angry girl staring at him. Oh no, what did I do? "I... Don't know who they are...?" He mumbled nervously, watching her but now and then glancing at Aella.

Aella studied him, pleased with his reaction to her words, which other may have found odd, but not so pleased that he had asked her name.
"No." She answered blankly. "Can't tell you. Not yet."
When a girl with purple hair landed beside her, Aella's grin returned. "Hello! Who are you?"

Aella was pleased when he didn't argue over her refusal to give her name, but blinked rapidly as the girl started shouting. "No need to yell," she commented, grabbing one of the girls wrists roughly. "Seriously. No need."

"Hey! Shove off!" She yelled, kicking the taller girls shin and pushing her away. "You think no one will notice I'm missing?" Juliana tugged her phone from her pocket and dial 911 raising it to her ear. Sure she had her issues with the law but what ever they might do to her couldnt be worse than being kidnapped.
Beep
She pulled the phone away frowning at the screen. No signal? Seriously? She looked back up glaring at the girl who stood in front of her.
"Stay away from me." She growled menacingly.

Kipp stumbled back, expecting the shrieking girl to tackle him, imagining he was someone else. And stood staring confusedly back at her his arm hanging limply in her grip. "Cam?" It only took a moment for his mind to accept that she was there. Of course she was there. Everyone else probably was too. "Oh... Uh," He looked her over trying to figure out if she looked different from the last time he'd seen her. "You," Look good too? No she didn't say you look good, just different. Say something nice. Say something nice already! You're just staring at her... "You're," Say something. Anything! "pretty." Kipp smiled awkwardly and pulled his arm away from her, distractedly walking past her toward the rest of the group. "Is everyone here yet?" He asked stopping in his tracks to frown at the new faces.
I look pretty? Heat rose beneath Cam’s cheeks. ”Thank you!” she managed to squeak out. ”You too!” And internally facepalmed.
”No, not everyone is here,” she said. ”I don't know a whole lot of these people, admittedly.” she waved a hand at the teens gathered on the limestone platform.
Kevin shook his head. “I don’t know. One minute I’m home, and the next minute my chickens are missing and there’s a strange door.” He watched her look him up and down, but brushed it off. “Kevin. My names Kevin.” He said, extending his hand.

Clary nodded slowly. “That would make sense... but then who are they?” She asked, jabbing her thumb as more people arrived.
”I don't know, maybe they followed us through the hole?”
Kyle glanced at the swirling void. ”Either way, I don't think we can get back and that guy is probably sending his chickens to Africa or something right now,” he said, sticking a thumb at Kevin.

Kylan stared at her, immediately deciding that he did not like this girl. "Look, no one here knows where we are, or why we're here." He snapped, glowering at her. "I'm just trying to find my little brother. So stop acting like you're the only one in this predicament!"

Lilith nodded. "Yeah, and of course, he loves everyone. His name is Tru." She said, watching as the dog's entire haunches started waving back and forth when Kevin crouched down beside him.

Instead of crying out in pain, Aella merely grimaced for a moment, bending and rubbing her shin. She straightened, and just laughed at the girls growl.
She stepped forward until she could loom over the smaller girl. "No one's going to notice, kid. Aliens. Wipe people's memories. Or..." she pressed a finger to her lips thoughtfully. "Alternate timeline?" She glanced at Kylan, then back at Juliana. "Who knows. Anyway, police didn't find me here, they aren't gonna find you either."
