The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Blair's eyes widened as Take stepped through the doorway, materializing before her. Her fingers flew to her other hand, sinking into her skin.
Yep. That hurts.
She blinked rapidly, her gaze flickering across his face. He looked way different then the last time she had seen him. Though, so did everyone else. A breath tore its ways out of her lungs before she became too lightheaded. "Woah."

Kylan whirled around when he heard a loud crash behind him, watching as the girl he had been talking to run over to the bird-man stuck in a tree who she addressed as 'Kipp'. I guess she didn't see Torin...? He shook his head, blinking.

Kylan whipped around once again, offering his hand to the girl to help her up. "Um... Hey. I'm Kylan." He said quietly, unsure of what to do.
Aella glanced at his hand, wrinkling her face with a muttered 'nah'. She glanced around her warily though, hauling herself to her feet. She leaned toward Kylan, her garnet eyes widening fractionally. "Where are they?" She whispered harshly.

Kylan retracted his hand away from her when she declined from it. He stumbled backwards when the girl suddenly leaned in towards him, further encouraging his nervousness. "Um... Where is who? Are you missing someone too?" He asked, studying her. "From what I can tell, no one here knows where we are. Everyone came from some creepy space rift. I think..."

"No! Them!" Aella gestured behind her frantically. She bit her lip, her gaze searching nothing. She raised a hand slowly, watching in quiet awe as she created a little flame in her palm. "I think I burned 'em." She nodded, watching the flame before she closed her hand, letting it fall to her side.
She looked at Kylan, her gaze serious. "Think I did?" Then her gaze grew bright when he said space rift. "I knew it!"

"Yo, yo, hold on." Kylan said, shaking his head and trying desperately to understand what the girl was talking about. He looked behind her nervously, but saw nothing. "Okay, so... Someone was chasing you?" He asked, looking back to her. "I... Didn't see. Maybe you did." He said, deciding that just going with it was his best bet. "Wait, you knew what?" He asked, eyes growing hopeful. Maybe someone did, in fact, know what had happened. "Do you have an idea as to what's going on here?"

Cam heard a crunch in the forest, spotting a person smaller than herself.
"Noah? NoAHHHH!"
She launched herself in Kipp's direction and grabbed him by the wrist, before realizing her mistake. "Kipp? You look..." Healthy. Remarkably amazing. Like you just got smacked in the gut by a tree branch. "Different."
Kipp stumbled back, expecting the shrieking girl to tackle him, imagining he was someone else. And stood staring confusedly back at her his arm hanging limply in her grip. "Cam?" It only took a moment for his mind to accept that she was there. Of course she was there. Everyone else probably was too. "Oh... Uh," He looked her over trying to figure out if she looked different from the last time he'd seen her. "You," Look good too? No she didn't say you look good, just different. Say something nice. Say something nice already! You're just staring at her... "You're," Say something. Anything! "pretty." Kipp smiled awkwardly and pulled his arm away from her, distractedly walking past her toward the rest of the group. "Is everyone here yet?" He asked stopping in his tracks to frown at the new faces.

Take glanced at everyone, noticing people he never seen before such as a tall, lumberjack looking dude, a random girl with a mask, another random girl that fell out of a portal... and so on, but before he could really put the names to faces for the people he remembered from the bug journey thing, his eyes fell on Blair. He froze, his eyes widening, Wait why is Blair here.. what the.. her colored hair looks sick.. he shook himself out of his daze, quickly stepping towards her. He hadn’t seen her in person in months, but she was here. He scowled, questioning it as he brought his hands up to her face, pinching her cheeks and really inspecting her facial features, “What are you doing here Blair? I thought you were in uh.. Massa.. chew..sits?”

Aella ignored his previous question, and nodded rapidly. "Aliens." She leaned towards him again, desperate and hopeful that he would believe her. "Tore a rift into the atmosphere and brought all of us here. Don't know why, could be a number of reasons, really. Or some sort of dark force...I wonder what, though?"

Sirens wailed, filling the snowy skies of New York City with their cries, calling out for the criminal they chased. Snow sprayed around the gingers ankles, soaking her boots, which were definitely not for running or the snow.
Aella flung herself at full speed through the crowds of people, relentlessly shoving people out of her way. She swerved down a dark alley, her heart running wild, like a trapped hare. She flung herself around the corner, footsteps slamming the ground. Many footsteps, heavy. Aggressive. Snarling voices filling the air. She flung her hands outright, fire springing free, creating a wall between her and the cops, the flames powerful enough to melt the snow and still stay lit. She laughed, the flames licking the sky, climbing higher and higher. Up? Up!
Of course! The flames wanted her to go up. She turned around in the alley, heart racing as she took off down the alley, chest heaving. A rickety set of metal steps led up a building, and she lunged up, climbing. Higher, higher...
She hauled herself to the top, the snow assaulting her as she ran along the rooftop. It blinded her, flinging into her eyes, and before she knew it, she was falling. Flailing. Desperate.
Panicked.
She grasped at the air aimlessly, a yell escaping her throught.
And she landed hard.
It's warm..?
She sat up quickly, feeling her ribs. Nothing broke. And it wasn't snowing. And...wait—
People?
She whipped her head back and forth, propping herself on one arm. Many people surrounded her, of all different heights and looks. She looked up, at the people around her, and gave a grin. "Hello."

Juliana had been fully minding her own business up on the roof, adding her signature decoration to the windowed roof access door, when a bright blob of bouncing red hair flecked with snow burst up next to her from the fire escape, panting and frantically running past. Flickering flames shot up from the alley below.

"Wait! Is this place on FIRE?!?!!" She yelled breaking into a sprint behind her. With a sudden shriek the frizzy mess disappeared into the snow ahead of her. Juliana skidded trying to stop in the slippery snow, but ended up tumbling in behind her.

"No problem. So... Those... Things, are popping up in a lot more places than my apartment?" Lilith said, eyeing the man. "Got any clue as to where we are and what's going on?" She asked, deciding that this was the first person who had interacted with her and thus this was the person she was going to speak with. She glanced down at Tru awkwardly and began fingering her dagger necklace-- Something she did whenever she was nervous, before looking back at the man, studying him. His was wearing a plaid jacket with a wedding ring being worn on a black cord around his neck, long golden hair was up in a man-bun, he stood slightly taller than her, and his eyes were a deep chocolate color. She tried she sense his emotions and actions, but again she only got a relaxed kindness. Okay, so not too threatening yet.

Kevin shook his head. “I don’t know. One minute I’m home, and the next minute my chickens are missing and there’s a strange door.” He watched her look him up and down, but brushed it off. “Kevin. My names Kevin.” He said, extending his hand.

"I honestly don't know... I just saw a door and thought... why not go through it?" Rylie mewed agreeably. "I don't see any bugs, at least." He glanced around, rubbing his chin. "We must be linked, somehow, considering the fact that the plant girl and you are here."

Clary nodded slowly. “That would make sense... but then who are they?” She asked, jabbing her thumb as more people arrived.
