"Who's that?" A blonde dangled over Blair's shoulder, pointing accusingly at the pink-haired man on Blair's phone screen.
"None of your business." Blair snarled, waving her away. The girl, her seven year old niece, was clinging to her shoulder, tugged violently at the blue-brown curls around Blair's shoulders, staring at her phone. She hadn't an idea where the girls snark and nosieness came from. Her brother wasn't a curious person, and the girls mother was very shy.
"Is it your boyfriend?" Okay, maybe she had picked some of it up from Blair.
"I refuse to be interrogated by a seven year old. Shoo, or we're going home." Blair stood, lifting the girl and plopping her on the ground. The girl scowled, crossing her arms. "Aunt Blair!" She shouted.
Blair sighed heavily, glaring down at Emma. "No." She glanced upwards, snow fluttering downwards, coating the park in a thin white layer. She buried herself deeper into her coat, wishing she could be back in Arizona. But no, she was stuck in Massachusetts with her brother, mother and other family.
The little girl ran off, leaping through the snow, Kit bounding after her, spraying snow up. Just when Blair had sat down again, a shriek of, "Aunt Blair!" Filled the air.
Sighing for the thousandth time that day, she stood, following the girls tracks. "What, Emma?!" She shouted, and promptly stopped dead when she saw why the girl had called her.
In the middle of the abandoned, snowy part, was a doorway. Dark and ornate golden carvings around the sides, swirling and flowering. The door flung open, revealing a dark forest on the other side. Emma squealed, and before Blair could react, leapt through it.
"Em, no!" She pelted forward with her werewolf speed, calling Kit and lunging through the doorway, panicking as she fell to her knees, a yelp echoing in her ears as Kit fell beside her.
She stood, panting, looking around. Kyle. Cam. Clary. A few others that were foreign, but the others were standing there. Real. Solid, not dream-like.
"Kyle?!"

It was currently 1PM in Los Angeles, California, were a certain pink haired, three-eyed, half-demon lived. Take was out jogging the city streets, passing up anyone who was doing the same. He had long outgrown the school track behind his apartment complex, he was ready for something more brutal. He kept his breathing steady and paced, hopping over any piece of broken or lifted concrete the city neglected. His hair was much longer now, like how he had it when he was younger— almost threatening to become a full on mullet. It flowed in the cold breeze, though his body radiated an intense, high heat that protected him from it. He dashed around a corner, slapping the street sign as he went. He was growing closer to the end of his 7 mile jogging route, going up the sidewalk that was alongside his old high school that he dropped out from. It held plenty of bad memories, but it was just a school to him now. His third eye had been keeping focus on everything around him, and suddenly, it caught glimpse of a portal looking thing.
He stopped in his tracks, coming up and putting his hands on the school fence.
I’ve seen that.. before..?
He quickly used his upper body strength and tossed himself over the fence with ease. Take made his way over to it, Why is this in the middle of the track? He noticed the jagged edges of the portal, like it was a floating tear in the world. He pulled out his phone, thinking it vibrated, but it was nothing. But he took a moment to stare at his lock screen, which was a picture of Blair.
I’ll be in and out.. just to check out this stupid thing..
He pocketed his phone and jumped straight into the portal, promptly landing on a platform and staring at those who there long before him.

Kyle looked up into a strange face. This one was harder to recognize, due to the short-cropped hair. Oh. It was that sarcastic girl. Wearing a very ironic shirt.
'Did you do this?'
"No, actually," Kyle admitted, shrugging his shoulders. "Did you happen to jump through a portal through the woods too? This is more than a coincidence."

Clary frowned. “Yeah, the door spawned in my kitchen I almost ran into it.” She said, crossing her arms. “If you didn’t do it, then who did? Laurel? We won’t have to fight more giant bugs, do we?”

"Um..." Kylan took a step back, realizing how alone he was, other than these strangers surrounding him.
He sucked in a breath, gathering all of his courage up. "I'm Kylan Archer. I... Was just in my home, in Lexington. I... Do you know where my little brother is? He came through the... Erm, creepy space portal? He's small, five years old. Looks like me? But with curly hair. And his name's Torin, he sounds Irish." He sputtered, all of his words coming out in merely one breath.

Lilith's cold eyes turned on the man. She tried to read him, and finally decided he was harmless and just as lost as her.
And also missing a chicken.
Interesting... "Here. Chicken." She said, leaning down and picking up a chick near her, allowing it to settle in her hand before holding it out to the burly Russian.

Kevin smiled down at her, gently tucking the chick into his pocket and taking the other chick from Lilith. “Thank you so, so, much.” He said, his large finger stroking the fuzzy yellow head of the baby chicken. “Ostan'sya s mamoy, mkay?” He said, shooing the chicks through the door and back to where they belonged.

Hana slowly emerged from her respective portal, her hand hovering over the tsuka of her katana defensively. She dually noted the wide spectrum of people and animals in her vicinity, along with this environment they were collectively gathered in. She knelt down, letting her fingertips stroke the limestone of which she stood on, her kitsune mask tightly secured to her face so no matter how much she moved her head, it wouldn’t fall off. She stood up straight and stepped away from the nearest person, her hand still strictly over her tsuka.

"No problem. So... Those... Things, are popping up in a lot more places than my apartment?" Lilith said, eyeing the man. "Got any clue as to where we are and what's going on?" She asked, deciding that this was the first person who had interacted with her and thus this was the person she was going to speak with. She glanced down at Tru awkwardly and began fingering her dagger necklace-- Something she did whenever she was nervous, before looking back at the man, studying him. His was wearing a plaid jacket with a wedding ring being worn on a black cord around his neck, long golden hair was up in a man-bun, he stood slightly taller than her, and his eyes were a deep chocolate color. She tried she sense his emotions and actions, but again she only got a relaxed kindness. Okay, so not too threatening yet.

Kipp leaned sleepily against his hand watching the clock over the teachers head. The second hand echoed in the quiet classroom. The only other sounds competing for attention were the occasional squeaks of the white board marker, and the frantically scribbling pencils of the other students. Half an hour left and this dragging first Monday back from winter break would be over.

Kipp stifled a yawn and sat himself upright, blinking a few times at the blank paper in front of him. His pencil had sat poise for use in his left hand for the first half of the class, but hadn't actually seen any use. If there were going to be a day he'd want to skip class, for not other reason than to just not be there, today would be it.

Kipp looked out the window, it was supposed to be a relatively nice day today, but the grey sky, and flecks of rain on the window said otherwise. Not that he was going to skip class, but it would have been nice to go back up to the radio tower and just do nothing for a day. Between his now normal schedule of fighting classes, other exercise routines, and visitors; he hadn't had a chance in the last two weeks to be alone for more than a few minutes, right before he fell asleep, and it was starting to get to him.

Worse than that though was the sheer unadulterated boredom, of being trapped in class. Anything. Literally anything would be better than this.

As if his wishing held sway with the universe, a deafening other worldly snap broke the silence. The air suddenly humming and prickling with electricity. Kipp jumped up out of his seat his eyes darting around the room trying to spot what had happened. The other students had lurched out of their seats at the sound too, and were now stumbling frantically toward the door as the floor heaved and buckled under their feet. Kipp stared down at the ugly black and white tiles that splintered and wriggled under his feet like they had spontaneously come alive. What!? What now? Was all he had time to think before the floor gave way and crumbled down into green and blue spiraling nothing.

Kipp somersaulted through the air flapping crazily trying to right himself. "WHAT THE-!" A large branch to the gut cut his sentence short, replacing it with wheezing coughs. He slid forward over the bough to tumble through several more before finally coming to a hard stop on the forest floor. His first gasped breath was followed by a soft moan. The very solid ground rocked back and forth in his vision.

"Let me rephrase," he muttered, "Anything, but that!" Kipp slowly sat up checking for any broken bones. "I'm actually ok?" He asked looking up at the tree that had slowed his fall. "I suppose you want a thank you?" He grumbled at the tree, "You're not getting one. That hurt!" He dusted off his pants as he stood, completely missing the leafy twig stuck in his hair.

Kipp looked around trying to get his bearings. It wasn't the first time he'd been sucked away from one place and flung roughly to the next. Though this time was very different from any teleport he'd used before.

Surrounding him was a mixed deciduous, and coniferous forest. The horribly humid and hot air pressed in on him, clinging to his feathers and making his cozy sweater feel instantly damp. Is it just me this time? He wondered trying to peer around the swarm of tree trunks. He couldn't see anyone else, but he was sure he'd seen at least one of his class mates next to him as he was falling.

"Hello?" He called, "Is there anyone there?"

"I honestly don't know... I just saw a door and thought... why not go through it?" Rylie mewed agreeably. "I don't see any bugs, at least." He glanced around, rubbing his chin. "We must be linked, somehow, considering the fact that the plant girl and you are here."

"Hello?" He called, "Is there anyone there?"
Cam heard a crunch in the forest, spotting a person smaller than herself.
"Noah? NoAHHHH!"
She launched herself in Kipp's direction and grabbed him by the wrist, before realizing her mistake. "Kipp? You look..." Healthy. Remarkably amazing. Like you just got smacked in the gut by a tree branch. "Different."

Sirens wailed, filling the snowy skies of New York City with their cries, calling out for the criminal they chased. Snow sprayed around the gingers ankles, soaking her boots, which were definitely not for running or the snow.
Aella flung herself at full speed through the crowds of people, relentlessly shoving people out of her way. She swerved down a dark alley, her heart running wild, like a trapped hare. She flung herself around the corner, footsteps slamming the ground. Many footsteps, heavy. Aggressive. Snarling voices filling the air. She flung her hands outright, fire springing free, creating a wall between her and the cops, the flames powerful enough to melt the snow and still stay lit. She laughed, the flames licking the sky, climbing higher and higher. Up? Up!
Of course! The flames wanted her to go up. She turned around in the alley, heart racing as she took off down the alley, chest heaving. A rickety set of metal steps led up a building, and she lunged up, climbing. Higher, higher...
She hauled herself to the top, the snow assaulting her as she ran along the rooftop. It blinded her, flinging into her eyes, and before she knew it, she was falling. Flailing. Desperate.
Panicked.
She grasped at the air aimlessly, a yell escaping her throught.
And she landed hard.
It's warm..?
She sat up quickly, feeling her ribs. Nothing broke. And it wasn't snowing. And...wait—
People?
She whipped her head back and forth, propping herself on one arm. Many people surrounded her, of all different heights and looks. She looked up, at the people around her, and gave a grin. "Hello."

Kylan whirled around when he heard a loud crash behind him, watching as the girl he had been talking to run over to the bird-man stuck in a tree who she addressed as 'Kipp'. I guess she didn't see Torin...? He shook his head, blinking.
