The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Only one person? He thought skeptically. "Ok, yes, I guess. He put himself in danger intentionally. So we could get away. Don't you think he'll be pissed if we go back to res-" he stopped mid-sentence knowing that what he was saying wasn't accurate. If thhey went back and actually managed to get him out of there he'd be relieved and happy. "If we go back, and get caught." He tried rewording it, but still he knew it would be easier to keep going in that place with a friend.

Kipp looked down the pathway they were following. They had almost made it to the end. The forest wasn't very far from where they were, and it would be a lot easier to travel in there than the cliff had been.

"Let's get to the trees first. Then we can figure out what we're doing." He said, it would likely be easier to climb back up in the woods, with plants to grab on to. And it would get them out of the rain. Which, though not particularly heavy, was starting to soak through his clothes.
“Okay,” she agreed at last, helping him and Emma to the tree covered area.

(I’m confused. I had it Ari had teleported a few posts ago so they are in the middle of a forest at the moment)
(i'm pretty sure they're all there in the forest, what Kevin means is don't keep jumping them so someone doesnt get stranded when Aria runs out of energy.)

Finally under the trees Kipp knelt down and let Noah off his back.
"We have two little kids who can't go back there. They need food and water and a dry place to sleep." He could use a place to sleep too, but he didnt care where, the squishy ground under his feet would do.

"Chion should be around here somewhere with the others. If they were together they'd be a lot safer. We can't just leave them on their own."

“Hmm...” She looked around. “If we braid a rope from some long grass, we could sleep up in trees so we could keep watch. I can probably make a makeshift bowl out of some bark, and we can use it to catch some rainwater. There’s probably some fruit around here.” Another pang of hunger stung her at the mention of food.

“Kipp, is there a river down there? Maybe Chion took the kids down to the river to get a drink” Fred suggested

That wasn't exactly what he had thought she'd say. He thought she wanted to get back up the hill to Take, not sleep. Kipp ran a hand over his face and through his hair, confused by what she said.

"Getting fruit is a good idea." He said thinking back to the mango like fruit he'd had several days ago. The memory was difficult to think of as real. It was so happy and bright, and all they'd known for what seemed like forever was darkness and hunger and pain.

"There's a river?" He asked wearily. He hadn't been looking while they were making their way down. Just focusing on not falling, and not letting anyone else fall.

“Down there” Fred pointed down the slope.

“Here.” She scooped up as much of the long, tangled grass as her fingers could hold and handed them to him after knitting the end for easy braiding. “Braid that, then tie it to their waists. Attack it to the tree.” She stripped some of the bark down and shaped it into a rough bowl. Ashira took her creation and set it down where the rain could get at it. “River or not, this water will be close in case one of us gets injured and can’t walk as far.” Then she pointed up at the grove. “There should be something to eat over there.” She pushed some of her brown waves behind her ears. “If that’s all, I think I should go back now. I hope that keeps you all safe.”

He looked down the hill squinting around the trees into the open blackness. He could see in the dark, but not that far. Nit that it mattered if Fred had seen a river then there was a river. And if Chion had seen the river she probably would head there too.

Kipp took the grass, looking down at it in pure confusion. Why did she want him to tie the kids to a tree? So they wouldnt wander off? He followed her pointed finger still not grasping what she was telling him to do, or why.

His mouth dropped open as he realized she was planning to leave them all there. He had intended to go back with her if they could get the kids to safety. But she was planning to leave now. With out talking to him about it.

"You think you can make it back in the dark?" He asked annoyed with how she'd decided to leave them all behind and go on her own.
